Veteran talks of being scammed out of $26,000 by Trump ‘University’

He says he spent $26,000 for nothing.

Felicisimo Limon, a retired Navy veteran of 40 years, took a free introductory seminar that convinced him to invest in taking real estate courses at the “school.” However, after five days of “instruction,” he says that he didn’t learn any useful information and was constantly pressured by instructors to pay even more money than what he’d already forked over.

“What the heck are you talking about, more money and I’m not learning anything?” Limon asked rhetorically, before explaining that the courses taught no special real estate secrets or techniques. In fact, CNN says that the only thing somewhat useful he learned about was the benefit of “paying off the unpaid tax benefits of elderly people, keeping them in their homes until they die, but then taking ownership of the property.” Limon said he found this idea to be immoral, which was when he decided that he’d had enough of Trump University.

catch donald at a veterans rally and tell him you know he wrote a check to donald j. trump for the sum of 500,000 dollars.

then explain to him that you’re willing to sue if he doesn’t pay up.

I just don’t get why so many people were willing to throw so much money at someone, when the benefits were so hazy. I wouldn’t put thousands down unless I was sure of what I was getting.

People tend to buy a good sales-pitch. I remember thinking I could run like the wind when I got my new P.F. Flyers. And they weren’t even promising that I could get rich by wearing them.

But you were a child. These are supposed to be adults.

        • bpollen June 1st, 2016 at 03:08

Hey, I just thought that was less embarrassing than admitting some of the times I have bought a line of crap as an adult. I learned, but it was a hard-won lesson.

what i could never understand is, why wait until you’re in your 70’s or 80’s to throw away all those hard long years of working to save for your retirement, to be so greedy for more, that you’re willing to trust someone so much to give it away on a “promise.” i didn’t feel bad for madoff “victims” either. greed is what did them in. i remember one woman who invested nearly everything, and she was already wealthy, and lost it all. then she cried about how she now has to eat at and take her friends to McDonald’s, instead of the ice restaurants because she’s so poor. well, hells bells, ain’t that a bitch. and quite frankly she probably had 2 – 4 mil left and to her that’s being broke. cry me a damn river.

Senate republicans blocked the Veterans health and
education bill because they couldn’t tack on an
amendment sanctioning Iran! That’s right Veterans,
republicans gyped you out of $22 Billion in essential
benefits as a political temper tantrum!!

and if anyone, aside from minorities and the poor and the middle class, it’s the vets that shouldn’t be voting against their own best interest as well. seriously, this isn’t the first time the repukes didn’t vote in their favor. how many times do you have to be butt fk’d bone dry by 100’s of repukes before you come to your senses?

On minute you hear Conman Donald Trump (R) claiming he gives to US Veterans, then we hear and see Conman Donald Trump (R) of Trump University (which was NEVER a university) ripping off a US Navy Veteran of 40 years Service. Conman Trump (R) wasn’t operating a University, he was operating something along the lines of a Payday Loan Scam! So next time you hear anything from this Conman Donald Trump (R), ask yourself, was Conman Donald Trump (R) “LYING” then or is Conman Donald Trump (R) still “LYING” NOW!
