Footage shows gorilla protecting child

Harambe, shot to death at an Ohio zoo, looks to be protecting the 4-year-old boy, not harming him.

Moments later, the 17-year-old gorilla was fatally shot by zoo staff in a bid to protect the boy after falling 12 feet into the enclosure.

However eyewitnesses have claimed that the gorilla was showing no aggressive behaviour towards the boy.

It is claimed that screams from those watching the unfolding situation panicked the animal, causing him to drag the child at a quick speed across the water.

Humans panicking out of fear and acting irrationally, I can be believe that. Heck we have major political parties that count on that to stay in power. That gorilla was probably the only rational thinking creature at the moment. It saw a bunch of humans start panicking and freaking out and thought to itself that it should save the the little human child from them.

Because they didn’t have high-potency tranquilizers on hand?
    And if not… why not?
