Nixon: Aristotle ‘a homo…the last six Roman emperors were fags’

Posted by | May 26, 2016 15:25 | Filed under: News Behaving Badly Politics

A newly revealed tape has Richard Nixon reacting to the show “All in the Family,” as an aide explains the premise of the show. This has him going off on a tangent about “fags.”

In a recorded rant from the 1970s that surfaced in 2013, Nixon proclaimed that homosexuality destroyed the Greeks. “Aristotle was a homo, we all know that. So was Socrates,” Nixon said. “The last six Roman emperors were f*gs. You see, homosexuality, immorality in general, these are the enemies of strong societies.”

The anti-Aristotle rant was prompted by the popular TV seriesAll in the Family, which Nixon believed was “glorifying homosexuality.”

And Richard Nixon was a Quaker crook who resigned from office in shame after he was exposed as a criminal….
I almost forgot the Republican tag….:)

it would have been nice to have left him forgotten huh? but, come to think of it, while all of the republiclown and republiklans are being exposed for their proud stupidity and ignorance, we may as well include him.

    I have to pause for a moment…
Who was the “homosexual” character on All in the Family?

There was no regular character who was gay. One of mike’s friends who made an appearance was gay, and Archie’s old friend, a football player, turned out to be gay, and that was hard for Archie to take because it didn’t fit the macho football stereotype, and there was Beverly, who was played by a female impersonator who performed as such in San Francisco. She was murdered in a later episode. I realize that’s not the same as being gay. But there was no recurring gay character. I watched the show during its first run, so I’m very familiar with it.

    Read the 12 Caesar’s.

Maybe then you can begin to understand the type of deviancy Nixon is speaking of.
If you can make it through the book without losing your appetite, there is a problem.

if it’s not your cup of tea and it’s not harming others, what’s it to you?

      • CommonSense May 26th, 2016 at 21:22

I was merely referring to the fact that the Caesar’s that Nixon is speaking of were not displayed homosexual behavior, but were also pedophilic, raping, murderers. I’m not going to go into what they committed, but feel free to read Seutonius’ 12 Caesar’s. Seutonius was a Secretary to Hadrian, and lived during the time.

Debauchery by an absolute monarch? Say it ain’t so!

You would never guess that Nixon was brought up in a Quaker household.

Have you ever tried their Oatmeal? Quakers seem so nice, but secretly…

Nixon will long be remembered as a bastion of moral rectitude.

From what I have read there is a lot of mystery about Nixon’s own orientation. Might explain his need to act and talk so macho.
