We heard this about President Obama, too, and it’s a lie.

Trump told the National Rifle Association that Hillary Clinton would take away the right to bear arms, moments after the gun group endorsed the presumptive GOP nominee at its annual meeting, CNN reports.

Calling the endorsement a “fantastic honor,” Trump dove right into attacking Clinton, saying she “wants to abolish the Second Amendment.”

Said Trump: “We’re not going to let that happen. We’re going to preserve it, we’re going to cherish it.”

    If Trump doesn’t know that Article II of the Constitution doesn’t give a U.S. president the power to unilaterally abolish amendments to the Constitution, he’s unsuited to be POTUS, and his supporters are just as dumb about what IS in the Constitution as he is.
