Lawyer who wears KKK hood threatens to lynch black councilman
The attorney regularly shows up at council meetings wearing his KKK hood.
Click here for reuse options!An attorney from the San Fernando Valley neighborhood of Encino submitted a speaker card on Wednesday night directed at Council president Herb Wesson, who is African-American, covered with racist language and imagery.
Police arrested Wayne Spindler for a felony count of making criminal threats and using hate speech. The 46-year-old is free after posting $75,000 bail and set to appear in court on June 10.
Spindler is no stranger to L.A. City Hall, and Wesson told reporters he no longer feels safe while on the premises, tellingKTLA he has become so concerned that he and his staff don’t walk through City Hall alone.
On the speaker card, Spindler calls himself “Wayne from Encino.” In what appears to be bright blue marker, he drew a burning cross, a man hanging from a tree and a crude picture of a KKK member holding a noose and a sign that reads “Herb = N***er.”

I like your idea, but we needn’t stop with just this guy. We could make a series of it. It could replace “Monday Night Football” during the off-season.
