William Kristol is heading up an effort for a third party run to make sure Trump doesn’t win.

…Romney is being courted this week by a leading conservative commentator to reconsider and jump into the volatile 2016 presidential race as an independent candidate,” the Washington Post reports.

“William Kristol, the longtime editor of the Weekly Standard magazine and a leading voice on the right, met privately with the 2012 nominee on Thursday afternoon to discuss the possibility of launching an independent bid, potentially with Romney as its standard-bearer.”

    It seems this effort is more toward the defeat of Trump then actually winning the vote..

      A plan like that would probably be designed more to get people to the polls to vote so the down ballot republicans don’t get trashed.

    If Haley fills the blank, Democrats are gonna have a real fight on their hands.
