Regis back to ‘Live’?

There may be interest in having Regis return to his former perch.

Regis Philbin was overheard entertaining the idea of returning to “Live” as Michael Strahan’s replacement last week, and sources told Page Six the embattled ABC show even reached out to Philbin’s longtime agent, Kenny DiCamillo, about the possibility.

“He’s already been approached. It’s been a bunch of phone tag back and forth. It’s in the very early stages,” one source said.
