CRUZ OUT

Ted Cruz has dropped out of the race for the Republican nomination for president.

Cruz’s decision came after losing overwhelmingly to Trump in the Indiana primary, all but ensuring that real estate mogul will claim his party’s mantle at the Republican National Convention in July.

“I said I would continue on as long as there is a viable path to victory. Tonight, I’m sorry to say, it appears that path has been foreclosed,” Cruz told a small group of supporters here Tuesday night. “Together we left it all on the field in Indiana. We gave it everything we got, but the voters chose another path.”

I just watched 30 seconds of rumps “atta boy” speech and he said “we have been losing for so long. We have lost with ISIS, our trade, our undocumented citizens. Don’t worry folks, we aren’t going to lose anymore, we are going to win bigly” (paraphrased BTW). WTF is bigly? The audience clapped? If my Presidential candidate said bigly and did not stop to rephrase, I would walk out. I elect a person who is smarter than I am, rump is not. I know people who have GED’s and speak like a Rhodes Scholar compared to rump.

After 17 of the republican party’s best and brightest…cough cough…they are left with Donald J Trump.
It’s a hilariously disturbing set of circumstances.
