Trump says he’d ‘have to think about’ ‘lying Ted’ for the Supreme Court

This brings vote pandering to a new level.

“I don’t know, I’d have to think about it,” Trump told the Daily Mail in an interview Monday.

“There’s a whole question of uniting and there’s a whole question as to temperament,” Trump continued. “He’s certainly a smart guy, but there’s also a temperament issue.

“He’s got a tough temperament for what we’re talking about,” Trump said. “You have to be a very, very smart, rational person, in my opinion, to be a justice of any kind.”

Don’t think to hard tRump, it might hurt your head. Just realize that Cruz as a SCOTUS justice would be extremely divisive. It would probably be a big mistake to even be entertaining the idea of him.

He would never be confirmed, everyone hates him too much.

Because of the precedent set by the GOP now, we may not see any new justices for many years if tRump gets elected.

He would pick from people who have been on his show to sit on the SCOTUS.

All the other justices would hate him in 5 minutes.
I bet they’d hide the key to the bathroom from him….

Why would anyone think to question rump who he would place on the Supreme Court? He doesn’t even understand the question and he will never have the chance, if they ask these types of questions to be funny, it is a huge fail IMO.

Only the looniest of the Tea Baggers could ever endorse him

How do you decide which one of them is the looniest?

        Now that’s a TV series I’d watch.

I’ll take the one with experience; former Senator, former
Secretary of State and former first lady!

    Alan, it’s “Lyin’ Ted.”
GOP frumprunner Donald Trunt has been adamant about that and frequently has made a point of spelling it out, complete with apostrophe, at his rallies.

Just imagine how much fun the senate confirmation hearings would be – having Trunt’s words thrown back at Cruz for him to explain…..

I figured he would have said, “Hell no!”

“You have to be a very, very smart, rational person, in my opinion, to be a justice of any kind.” The same could be said about the presidency. And yet …

He’s ‘thinking’ about it? That’s scary enough right there.
