Poll: Cruz has wide Indiana lead

Posted by | May 1, 2016 09:27 | Filed under: Politics

Polls aren’t always correct, but this one gives a big lead to Ted Cruz.

A new poll gives U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz a significant lead in Indiana’s Republican presidential primary, with support from 44.8 percent of voters polled.

The Mike Downs Center for Indiana Politics poll puts GOP front-runner Donald Trump in second place with 29 percent and John Kasich in third with 13.3 percent of the vote.

But 13 percent of Hoosier voters surveyed said voluntarily that they didn’t know who they would vote for — and, paired with a 4.9 percent margin of error, that could still put the candidates in a neck-and-neck race.

the canadian born ‘son’ of the cuban antichrist that ushered in the communist regime of Fidel Castro really, really, really needs 440 delegates from Indiana just to remain relevant to the donald. no way for Canadian Rafael to win on the floor of an ‘open’ Republican Convention without there being mass Konverts for the Kanadian Kristian that has NO Konscience about throwing truth out the window for the needs of his party of faith. (with a zinger like Fiorina at his side, his credibility should remain at the unbelievable zero mark).

    Kanadian
    Kristian
    Konverts

the Canadian born son of the Cuban Antichrist needs them in mass just to block any other *losing nomination the GOP may come up with.

*excluding a remotely possible Romney/Haley surprise bomb that might catch the Democrats off guard?

WSJ poll slightly differs……………… Trump leads by 15 points

would be best for the GOPs to drive the wooden stake through the area of a human’s body that is the general location of the heart and end the destructive foolery of the CANADIAN BORN son of the Cuban Antichrist – but –

it’s FUN for some to watch the slow motion implosion with nothing but rubble left in the center ring. Will give POTUS2BHRC plenty of time to continue the clean up efforts started in 2009.

t’s not just the WSJ that has Trump up but about 14 others….only the IPFW poll has Cruz ahead…

So the basketball ring comment didn’t even hurt him? Like President Obama said, next he will call bats baseball sticks and helmets football hats. We can’t have a President using these types of terms, we will look ridiculous. …………./s I am being silly, there are a lot of much bigger reasons why he should never lead, but I am fine with whatever reason anyone uses to not choose him.

Cruzifer has a lot more to worry about than finding solace in a lone outlier.

    May 3 Indiana · 57 delegates
    May 10 Nebraska · 36 delegates & West Virginia · 34 delegates
    May 17 Oregon · 28 delegates
May 24 Washington · 44 delegates June 7 Cali, NJ, etc. 571 still available.

All bow down the the great, Cruzifer~!

    Wow….
I almost forgot that Indiana was a state…..:)

And here I was thinking that Indiana was more sensible than that. That whole “you can discriminate against gays if it’s for Gawd, Davy” law was just a fluke. Gov. Pence has said that he abhors discrimination and he’s been inspired by MLK. That he would veto a bill that legalized discrimination. That his “it’s for Gawd, Davy” law is just being smeared and that people don’t perceive it correctly. 80% of the legislature was in favor of it.

Who could guess Indiana would back the Sleazy Liar For Gawd, Raffy Cruz.

I think this poll must be an outlier. From what I’ve read, most polls and 538 give Trump a substantial lead. Not that that’s any better, really.

      RealClearPolitics seems to agree:
