Racist Trump fan with stockpile of bombs arrested for threatening Obama

This tells you everything you need to know about the core supporters of Donald Trump.

John Martin Roos, a 61-year-old from Oregon, has been charged with communication of a threat in interstate commerce, and additional charges are likely forthcoming. Roos first came onto the federal government’s radar after a “concerned citizen” brought Roos’ Facebook and Twitter postings to the FBI’s attention in February, according to an affidavit from Special Agent Jeffrey Gray. (Excerpts, below, from Roos’ postings contain explicit language.)

In one Jan. 31 Facebook post cited by the FBI, Roos referred to agents as “pussies” and wrote he would “snipe them with hunting rifles everywhere.” (Despite his threats to kill members of law enforcement, he also complained on Facebook earlier this month about the “liberal media … slamming police.”) In a post in November that was also cited by the FBI, Roos spoke out against accepting refugees and threatened to kill Obama.

“Obama you goat fffing fudgepacker, the refugees are men of fighting age. Black lives matter! Sure we need someone to pick cotton and wash cars. Paris, burn diseased muslim neighborhoods to the ground and start over with human beings. Obama you are on a hit list,” he wrote in a post that appears to have been removed.

Seems like a nice guy….maybe his bubble is a little off center

    • Larry Schmitt April 30th, 2016 at 09:09

You didn’t label this as snark. Are you serious? /s (jic)

      • Suzanne McFly April 30th, 2016 at 09:10

I almost commented but I wasn’t sure, maybe Budda sees good in everyone lol.

        • Larry Schmitt April 30th, 2016 at 09:12

You can claim to do that (find good in everyone) but with tRump, Cruz, this guy, and lots of others, there either isn’t any, or it’s so deeply hidden by the piles of sh*t, that you’ll never see it.

          • Suzanne McFly April 30th, 2016 at 09:13

And I do not care to look for the good in them, it is a waste of time.

            • Larry Schmitt April 30th, 2016 at 09:16

Agreed. There are some people who, if I read in the news that they were killed, or found dead, I would not be close to shedding a tear. I might feel a bit of sympathy for their families, but not for them. Some people, including this loser, we’re better off without.

              • Suzanne McFly April 30th, 2016 at 09:51

I say we pile them in Texas and build a wall around it.

                • Larry Schmitt April 30th, 2016 at 10:04

Isn’t that what Jade Helm was all about?

                  • Suzanne McFly April 30th, 2016 at 10:19

I think Jade Helm wants us to throw in a bunch of lighter fluid and add a match, I don’t eat pork and we will smell that for years if we do that.

                    • Larry Schmitt April 30th, 2016 at 10:20

What does burning sh*t smell like?

                    • Suzanne McFly April 30th, 2016 at 10:25

Not sure about the smell of burning poo, but for some reason I picture a pile of fat going up in flames.

          • clemans May 1st, 2016 at 07:27

I am usually good at finding good in everyone…..let me think, and if Kasich, Cruz, Trump…..and Carly don’t win, I can come up with something good about them…….they are gone? Would that be something?
            smiles

            • Larry Schmitt May 1st, 2016 at 07:33

But that’s not the same as finding good “in” someone. It’s like saying he didn’t commit murder. If the only thing you can say about someone is that he’s not doing evil, that’s not really good in them.

              • clemans May 1st, 2016 at 07:46

I said to give me time to reflect on it……and so far, that is the best I can come up with. Not sure if the flaw is with me or them. I admit, coming up with something is a bit of a challenge

                • Larry Schmitt May 1st, 2016 at 07:53

Save yourself the trouble. There’s nothing there.

                  • clemans May 1st, 2016 at 07:59

I wasn’t going to lose sleep or put a lot of effort into it.

          It’s the T-shirt…

          • Suzanne McFly April 30th, 2016 at 10:16

I know the thought behind the phrase Mitakuye Oyasin as we are all one, but that is about all I know about it.

            • Larry Schmitt April 30th, 2016 at 10:21

              From Wiki:
Mitákuye Oyás’iŋ (All Are Related) is a phrase from the Lakota language. It reflects the world view of interconnectedness held by the Lakota people of North America.[1] This concept and phrase is expressed in many Yankton Sioux prayers,[2] as well as by ceremonial people in other Lakota communities.[3][4]

The phrase translates in English as “all my relatives,” “we are all related,” or “all my relations.”

              • Suzanne McFly April 30th, 2016 at 10:26

I understand that part, I am just unfamiliar with the “center” part that Budda referred to.

            • Mike April 30th, 2016 at 10:38

It’s Lakotan…better translation is “all my family or all my relatives”
An idiom that was used a lot in old stories and prayers…
The internet translation fails in that the “we or all” is referring to the Lakota Sioux specifically, and not everyone in the universe…

      • Budda April 30th, 2016 at 10:30

Okay, his bubble is way off center……better?

  2. Buford2k11 April 30th, 2016 at 09:02

Ok then…As the Republican Party continues its break down into its composite parts, there will be casualties…there will be those who cannot find another rock to climb under…like this guy above…there will be the Cruzader Party of Lucifer…ah, there is a gem of a guy…and then you have all the rest of the lost sheep…the Koch Party will try to scoop up some of the disaffected and criminal elements that are left in the ragged and bloated corpse of the Republican Party…if there is anyone left, then God help them onto the fainting couch of Lindsey Graham…the Grand Dame of the Tattered Remains…

  3. Mike April 30th, 2016 at 09:07

I’m giving him a pass because of the T-shirt….

    • Suzanne McFly April 30th, 2016 at 09:09

He does not understand the shirt, he bought it half off at goodwill.

      • Larry Schmitt April 30th, 2016 at 09:10

More likely, found it in a dumpster behind Goodwill.

      • allison1050 April 30th, 2016 at 13:13

He bought it because it doesn’t have sleeves but negated to acknowledge that he no longer has muscles. :)

:o)) Hi Gina! I’m learning how to cook Chinese food now.

            • Gina Bousquet April 30th, 2016 at 17:55

Hi Alli! :) That’s wonderful! I love Chinese. Always had the impression it’s a difficult cuisine.

              • allison1050 April 30th, 2016 at 20:24

No, it’s actually quite easy. Go to YouTube and type in Happy Wok. Chef Lee lists the ingredients at the end of his videos. He doesn’t talk in the videos he’s just cooking. Take a look at a couple of them and tell me what you think. Hope you and your family are well.

In total with that one recipe I have another 2 that I may give a try also plus it really doesn’t take that long to prepare, cook and…eat. ;)

              • clemans May 1st, 2016 at 07:22

Gina, it is really easy, but lots of chopping vegetables to me, I used to cook it a lot for my family when all of the kids were home, some things are really easy…..Allison has a great site to look for things to cook. I am looking for a walnut chicken recipe that has a creamy sauce, might be made with coconut milk…..haven’t found the right one yet

                • Gina Bousquet May 1st, 2016 at 14:41

I don’t like chopping vegetables either and I’m not such a fan of soy sauce, but there are recipes I love in Chinese food. I’ll check it out. That chicken recipe you’re looking for, we usually make it here with coconut milk and it’s great (but no walnuts). We just marinate it, then sauté it in garlic and chopped onions and let it simmer in coconut milk.

                  • clemans May 1st, 2016 at 15:18

not all Chinese food has soy sauce, and sometimes it has some, but so little it isn’t overpowering……is the sauce on your chicken thick and creamy or thin like how it comes from the coconut?

The one I want is thick and creamy and has walnuts cooked in the sauce…..just don’t know how what they use to thicken the coconut milk. I just love this and can only find one place that serves it…….about 35 miles away….and they changed cooks the new person sucks.

                    • Gina Bousquet May 1st, 2016 at 16:38

If I make it from scratch, grounding the raw coconut and extracting the milk at home–the hard process–it’s thin, but the taste cannot be matched by any industrialized produce. If I buy it in a jar–that’s how they’re sold here–it’s thick and creamy. If you make it at home you have to put it in a sheet pan and heat it in the oven to squeeze it while hot in a cheesecloth, time-consuming but incomparable, and thin.

                    • clemans May 1st, 2016 at 17:00

I am going to try this recipe to see if this makes what I am looking for. It calls for shrimp but no reason I can’t use chicken…..but I have shrimp so might try something really new to me……hope this works in your country.

Oh, coconut milk and shrimp are a wonder too! Here anything with coconut milk is a go, actually. I’ll check the link now.

I’ve been introduced to a product I had never heard of Until I was on YouTube at YouCanCookGourmet, it’s called Liquid Aminos. Use it with or instead of Soy Sauce or Lite Soy Sauce. I had to order it from Amazon and I love it.

                    • clemans May 1st, 2016 at 18:53

I love soy sauce, but what does that product taste like? I can love other ingredients too.

                    • allison1050 May 1st, 2016 at 19:11

Extremely mild, I was introduced to it on YouTube at YouCanCookGourmet. I don’t use much salt any more so Soy Sauce tastes really salty sometimes even the Lite Soy sometimes effects me that way but I cut down the Soy Sauce and add more of the Liquid Aminos and it’s a perfect balance as far as taste goes.

                    • clemans May 1st, 2016 at 19:41

I will try to get some and check it out. I have noticed foods taste more salty lately.

                    • allison1050 May 1st, 2016 at 21:09

If you live near a Chinese market then you’ll find it and bean paste on Amazon.

                    • clemans May 1st, 2016 at 22:19

I live within 25 miles of two Asian stores, I have seen bean paste in one……I go every 6 months to get my curry so I will look then. I am looking forward to trying more new things! You are very good for me!

                    • allison1050 May 2nd, 2016 at 07:12

Aww, how sweet of you to say that clemans. I’m trying this because it’s cheap plus I sometimes get tired of my own cooking. The added benefit is that I really enjoy looking at these videos. I just lined up and pre measure everything in the order used and started whaling away in my skillet (my wok gave out years ago but have now replaced it). Don’t forget to look for Liquid Aminos if the store has it then it should be near the soy sauce. Sesame sauce, duck sauce and or plume sauce. I always have fresh garlic and ginger on hand, especially fresh ginger since I sometimes put a slice in a glass of water. Oh I just remembered rice wine-white.
Have fun checking out HappyWok recipes and YouCanCookGourmet. Chef Fai (sp) from HappyWok will answer your questions and so will Joyce from YouCanCookGourmet.
If you decide to try something try HappyWok sweet and sour pork it was delicious and pretty. To tell you the truth, I enjoy just looking at some of the videos. ;o)

                    • clemans May 2nd, 2016 at 07:34

I will look for it, I have the other things as staples. I mostly make my own plum sauce though. I do a lot with Hoisin sauce too.

I mix hoisin, plum jam, white rice wine, and ginger and chicken, or pork. Sliced green onions too if I have them.

The videos make me hungry! smiles

                    • allison1050 May 2nd, 2016 at 08:30

Oh yes, I’d forgotten about having hoisin sauce on hand. Once the staples are in place we’re good to go. Corn starch also is used a lot but I always have that on hand.

                    • clemans May 2nd, 2016 at 08:43

I need to check expiration dates.

                    • allison1050 May 2nd, 2016 at 09:25

Since I’ve just gotten into learning Chinese cooking I had to purchase all of those staples, some was an investment put I’m having fun which is all that really counts.

                    • clemans May 2nd, 2016 at 10:58

                      better than a vacation!

Those videos make me hungry also at times I think I should wipe the drool from the corner of my mouth! I’m sitting here chuckling. I look forward to dinner constantly.

                    • clemans May 2nd, 2016 at 08:45

You know what? I was a chocoholic like most of my family but since chemo I’ve lost my taste for chocolate anything! ;o( I dug in my freezer and pulled out a 1/2 gal. of chocolate ice cream that had been there for over 3 months, I had only had 1 small bowl and then just forgot about it since it’s lost it’s appeal. It’s just sooo sad. My 1st memory of my grandmother was that she wasn’t that much taller than I was and that she always smelled like chocolate! She used to serve chocolates on a little silver tray for appetizers. sad, sad, sad But I’ll eat apple pie and drool over that so all is not lost. ;o)

                    • clemans May 2nd, 2016 at 10:57

the thought of you even losing your interest in chocolate, shakes me to the core. The apple pie sounds goo though. like I said, I will be right over. smiles

Chocolate of good, middle or low quality now tastes like the inside of a tin can since about my 4th treatment.

I’m going to make the steamed ribs in black bean sauce today. Pray for me, I’ve got something for backup is it doesn’t taste good.

                • clemans May 1st, 2016 at 11:06

let me know how that one tastes.

                  • allison1050 May 1st, 2016 at 12:47

I’m going to start in about an hour or so just in case…. if I hate it I’ll be sure to let you know but I’ve since found a couple of other recipes also. One thing that’s interesting is how few ingredients they actually use and by leaving 1 out and adding another the flavor changes. If this doesn’t work for me my backup is fried chicken, mashed potatoes and milk gravy and veg.

I will be right over……and coming hungry!

sorry it didn’t turn out well, got a friend to give it to or neighbor?

                      What did it taste like?

No, you misunderstood, I made the steamed ribs with black bean sauce but just in case I didn’t like it my plan was to make fried chicken BUT…the steamed ribs are great! Thank goodness! ;D

No longer? I believe he never had a muscle in his life, unless its the kind of muscles you eat.

not sure we can tell where he bought it, or if that matters, but I agree with you, it is a good probability that if he once knew what was written on the shirt, it is doubtful that he does understand it at this time. With luck he will get years of help or time to think about it.

Well it looks like he will have time to contemplate things, he will be locked up for awhile.

I only wish that all of the others like him could go to that party too!

How can the same guy do this: Roos referred to agents as “pussies” and wrote he would “snipe them with hunting rifles everywhere.” and this: “he also complained on Facebook earlier this month about the “liberal media … slamming police.”
Aren’t FBI agents sort of, you know, police?

Now, now, now, don’t look too closely at those pesky details. ;o)

    • clemans May 1st, 2016 at 07:15

we don’t know what stories he has told himself…..reminds me of the intro for the old radio show, The Shadow……”who knows what evil lurks in the heart of men”. It could read, who knows what lurks in the minds of the crazy

Doesn’t he look like a real charmer.

I am glad that people like this are too stupid to realize that technology can get them caught!

  7. allison1050 April 30th, 2016 at 13:18

Being that he’s 61 now, he’s mapped out how he’ll be spending a chuck of what’s left of his life! ;o)

he may belong in a psych ward……but jail or there would be my pick. There were a couple of other people on another website I was on who threatened the President. I called the FBI and the lady there kept me on the line until she found the thread, read what was on it, thanked me and withing 40 minutes the posts had been removed plus posts by at least 3 other posters……my guess, a troll pretending to be 3-4 people all at once.

Some trolls don’t understand, when they get reported, the government also looks into everyone on their contact lists, friends, family, whoever. Some people resent the intrusion.

      • allison1050 May 1st, 2016 at 09:56

I’m so happy that you reported what you found clemans! It makes one wonder what happened to the MODS, were they asleep or what.

        • clemans May 1st, 2016 at 11:17

well, in the one example, I saw the post first, showed it to my spouse, who at the time had a friend with homeland security and he said to call one or the other so I called within 5 minutes of the posting.

I don’t care what people say because I don’t support censorship except when people threaten violence or are trying to incite violence in others.
