Cruz comparison to Lucifer offends satanists

Satanists don’t want the association with Ted Cruz as offered by John Boehner.

Actual Satanists were not pleased at all. Lucian Greaves, a spokesman for and co-founder of the Satanic Temple, explained why to Slate:

Writing off a highly Christian character like Ted as “Lucifer incarnate” reaffirms the idea that Christianity can do no wrong. But Christians can’t just push Cruz off on Satanists. We don’t fucking want him…

The GOP voters don’t read them, but GOP luminaries plagiarize them.

But Cruz just accepted an endorsement from the NAVI

National Association of VajayJay Inspectors? (AKA, the GOP)

    They have a point.

I abhor Satan as much as the next guy but the comparison is unfair.

what has Mr. Satan done to you to deserve hate – especially since you espouse some kind of xianity?

I wouldn’t try to f with Satan in a lawsuit, I mean, he’s got lawyers from every century as far back as written history in courts go – not to mention the current ones plying their trade for the donald.

And he’s got the Koch Brothers bankrolling him.

LOL! If Lucifer actually exists, I can understand why he’d be pissed. I’m sure he’d be happy having Ted Cruz on god’s side.

nobody in the gop race knows what religion is & ted is no exception, its all selective bible quotes without telling people what bible they got it from.

May I just point out that the concept of Satan was lifted from Zoroastrianism and embraced by all the Abrahamic religions. Modern Zoroastrians have evolved to think that the good vs. evil struggle is an internal struggle, and not an external one. The Abrahamic religions have been much slower to that viewpoint.
