Report: Cruz vetting Fiorina as potential VP

It would be difficult to make Ted Cruz less appealing, but he is clearly working on it.

According to a report from the Weekly Standard, the Cruz campaign is vetting former Republican presidential candidate and Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina for vice president.

Sarah Isgur Flores, who helped run Fiorina’s presidential campaign, told the Weekly Standard that Fiorina has turned over financial records to the Cruz campaign as well as sat down to talk with them.

    And Sen. Cruz thinks she would be an asset to his ticket and his administration? If this is an example of his decision-making, lord help us if he is elected.

    He has to hire someone who would not guarantee his death. As President (never will happen, so don’t worry), he would have more death threats than President Obama, but if carly is his replacement, that guarantees him a chance to live a bit longer.
