If it weren’t for bank fraud and pedophilia, Denny Hastert would be golden.

Former GOP House Majority Leader Tom DeLay has written a letter to the court asking that former GOP House Speaker Dennis Hastert get leniency in his federal trial for committing bank fraud to cover up his sexual abuse of a student athlete when he was a high school wrestling coach. “We all have our flaws, but Dennis Hastert has very few. He is a good man that loves the lord. He gets his integrity and values from Him. He doesn’t deserve what he is going through,” DeLay writes. Hastert abused at least four boys at Yorkville High, prosecutors said in an April 8 pre-sentencing memo that detailed the allegations. One said he was 14 when Hastert abused him in a motel room after telling the boy he wanted to check a groin injury.

    Unfortunately, one of those “very few” faults is that he likes to have sex with little boys. Other than that, he’s a peach.

      funny how the repukes are always siding with each other when it comes to issues of child molestation, dismissing it cause their “god.” they did it with the duggars as well. and fox won’t cover it for umpteen weeks, but Obama is un-American because he doesn’t like ketchup. go figure.

      No, he deserves much worse. But the statute of limitations has run out on the molestation charges, so they can only get him for money laundering. He deserves to do many years of hard time, but he won’t.
