Trumpians outraged as Cruz grabs Maine delegates

Ted Cruz is the winner of the Maine GOP primary, but in a controversial fashion that has drawn outraged remarks from front-runner Donald Trump’s campaign. Cruz’ victory comes more than a month after the state’s March 5 caucus, and gives the senator a more lopsided (and controversial) slate of delegates in advance of the GOP’s national…

      • Suzanne McFly April 24th, 2016 at 20:09

I am just glad they aren’t smart, they would really be dangerous then.

        • whatthe46 April 24th, 2016 at 20:29

not smart is clear. you can tell that their supporters aren’t very bright as well. that party has become the laughing stock and the entire world has seen them for what they are. a bunch of incompetent cry babies.

But yet they deem themselves the “tough” and “strong” ones.

Trumpians – of the same genus as Cretins.

      You are too kind.

I wouldn’t rate them higher than Neanderthals. (with apologies to Neanderthals)

You really gotta wonder why The Boor et al are paying Manafort at all. First, Manafort swears “He’s going to tone it down”, and The Boor says he isn’t toning it down. Then they need to use the ground game – the one Manafort is supposed to be so good at – in these middle states, and once again fail miserably. Um…. my resume wouldn’t hold up too well to those kind of failures. How much is Mr. Manafort getting for his “services”?

this morning the news said that Kasich and Cruz were working together to prevent Trump from getting the delegates, while it is clear to me that Trump supporters aren’t using critical thinking skills, or have sold out for personal profits, I don’t get how the GOP say that their party process is fair, how can Cruz and Kasich try to do that? If the system is fair and how they have always done things as some have said, then what the two are doing is trying to take control away from the conservatives who turned out for the caucuses. Vote counts in the areas where they have already made a statement show voters don’t want Cruz or Kasich.

Those two should be embarrassed by the low support for them….Trump……well, he passed that point decades ago.

      >>I don’t get how the GOP say that their party process is fair, how can Cruz and Kasich try to do that

Neither party has a truly democratic nomination process.

That being said, if I understand correctly what Cruz and Kasich are doing, it’s not too shady.

They are just agreeing on which states they should campaign in, so they don’t split those votes. I’m in Oregon and Cruz isn’t coming here but Kasich is. So, they don’t split the vote against Trump in a state where Cruz can’t win, anyway. Seems smart and legit to me.

      But, too little, too late.

legit if one doesn’t think about the fact that the voters have so far rejected them and that the voters don’t get to decide who runs for their party. Cruz and Kasich are hoping one of them gets a contested convention to side step what voters have said they wanted.

I find it so amusing that Cruz is cleaning Trump’s clock in the “art of the deal.”
