Kelly cancels getaway with husband after Strahan bolt
Kelly Ripa is skipping out on more than work.

The Live With Kelly and Michael host had been set to fly off to Turks and Caicos for a long weekend but has scrapped those plans after learning earlier this week that her co-host Michael Strahan was quitting their show come September and moving over to Good Morning America.
Sources close to Ripa tell DailyMail.com that news of Strahan’s departure was difficult enough for Ripa to deal with and she cannot believe the decision was made to tell her about the move just days before her much anticipated vacation.

Other than Regis Philbin, Strahan is the only partner she’s ever had on the show in 15 years – but calling it news is a stretch.

Something I never have seen mentioned about Ripa is her appearance in one of those 1-900-SEX-CHAT type ads. You used to see a ton of those ads on late night TV.
