Donald Trump easily won the New York Republican primary. The bigger news is that John Kasich came in second.

Donald Trump won an easy victory in New York’s GOP presidential primary Tuesday — closing in on the 1,237 delegates he needs to nail down the nomination on the first ballot at the convention in Cleveland, CNN reported.

The network made the call just seconds after polls closed at 9 p.m. based on exit polling data.
