Trump’s inspiring words on water in Watertown

This was his opening comment in Watertown, NY, a town he has clearly studied and to which is not pandering. H/t to CBS’s Sopan Deb for catching this:

tell you what I see when I look out there. I see the undeveloped resources a syndicated development consortium exploiting over a billion and a half dollars in forest products. I see a paper mill and if the strategic metals are there, a mining operation. A greenbelt between the condos on the lake and a waste management facility focusing on the newest rage in toxic waste, medical refuse. Infected bandages, body parts, IV tubing, contaminated glassware, entrails, syringes, fluids, blood, low grade radioactive waste all safely contained sunken in the lake and sealed for centuries. Now I ask you what do you see?

    • The Original Just Me April 17th, 2016 at 03:17

Okay, now open your other eye and what do you see ? More of the same ? :+)

              Oh, Oh, Oh ZZYZX, Califonia.

              • bpollen April 17th, 2016 at 22:44

That’s a plot point in a Michael Connelly book.

                • The Original Just Me April 17th, 2016 at 22:50

After you leave Nevada on I-15 and enter California, there is an exit sign that reads ZZYZX Road. I think it is an area and not really an incorporated town.

                  • bpollen April 17th, 2016 at 22:56

I’m not sure it’s status is, but the story mentions that specific sign for a significant direction in the tale.

                    • The Original Just Me April 17th, 2016 at 23:03

I kind of remember something about that because at the time I recognized the name. I goggled it and the book was ” The Narrows “. ZZYZX is a community but it is unincorporated.

                    • bpollen April 17th, 2016 at 23:10

                      Loved all of those books.
