In yet another one of those hypocritical “do as I say, not as I do”moments, Georgia state lawmaker Republican Tom Taylor was charged with a DUI in Rabun County, GA, blowing a whopping .225 on the breathalyzer test. If being totally soused behind the wheel weren’t bad enough, the Dunwoody Republican was driving 72mph in a…

you’d be facing a lot of time and kids taken away. but, as always, he judges others far worse.

      • anothertoothpick April 15th, 2016 at 20:29

He is a closet drinker. Anyone sipping vodka out of a water bottle aint no amature.

My bet is he thinks he has been hiding his addiction for a long time and the only one that did not know he was on his way to this kind of trouble was him.

don’t forget my favorite, that Tenn politician whose wife had 2 abortions, and he was trying to force his girlfriend into having one, taped that conversation to give to his wife to prove he didn’t want that women having his child too……he is a wonderful representative of republican family values…..especially after he ran on an anti-abortion stance and won in his state after this and the video were released.

      I just love that guy.

      • robert April 15th, 2016 at 22:47

your right There is the possibility it was a self driving google car

    • anothertoothpick April 15th, 2016 at 20:41

Drunk driving has some heavy punishment yes?

What are the penalties, I wonder for being drunk and carrying a gun?

      • whatthe46 April 15th, 2016 at 20:45

and child endangerment and reckless driving?

      • robert April 15th, 2016 at 20:46

you could throw in child endangerment but there probably wasn’t enough room on the ticket (s)

  4. Larry Schmitt April 15th, 2016 at 20:47

As usual, the only thing he regrets is getting caught.

    • anothertoothpick April 15th, 2016 at 20:49

Does Georgia still have “chain gangs”?

  5. oldfart April 15th, 2016 at 20:49

Child endangerment, check. reckless driving, check. DUI ??? if you blow over a .08
in NY its a DWI…lose you license and ability to get insurance (without paying up the nose)
With a gun…? oh hell, everybody does that…

    • anothertoothpick April 15th, 2016 at 20:53

Hey, he needs to carry that gun in case the gubmint comes for him.

      Or maybe Isis .

These fucksticks cannot even leave their house without being strapped

      • whatthe46 April 15th, 2016 at 21:24

        and apparently drunk too.

        • anothertoothpick April 15th, 2016 at 22:00

          Hahahahahaha. Good one whatthe.

        • The Original Just Me April 17th, 2016 at 04:27

If you had four Republican raised kids in the car, you would drink too. The gun was for self protection from his own kids. Just look at the speed. He was trying to get home so he could get rid of them by turning them loose on the neighborhood.

      • clemans April 16th, 2016 at 07:44

well, NONE of the republicans or the NRA that I know of are insisting that guns be at the republican convention……IF they REALLY felt guns made us safer, they would give back the 20 million for security coming out of the 50 million taxpayers are spending for that convention back to the taxpayer and tell us, “no thanks we got this one covered”.

They want guns in schools, theaters, malls, shopping centers, restaurants, and everywhere else……but NOT in DC in government buildings or at the GOP convention.

Where is the republican outrage over that?

        H-O-P-O-C-R-I-T-E = republican for sure.

        • The Original Just Me April 17th, 2016 at 04:23

The Mississippi Governor just signed a bill allowing guns to be carried in churches with no permit required. Collections are down, so the preacher men have to do something to get money out of the people. Stick um up, This is a Donation. :+)

          • clemans April 17th, 2016 at 07:15

            what gun did Jesus carry?

            • The Original Just Me April 17th, 2016 at 08:54

Two things that we know for certain about Jesus, he did not carry a gun or a Bible. Neither one had been invented yet. :+)

              • clemans April 17th, 2016 at 09:00

you are right, and I don’t think most people think about that. Christians are to put their faith in god and pattern their lives after Jesus.

There are a lot of Christians who aren’t Christians but in name only

                • The Original Just Me April 17th, 2016 at 09:16

If you stop and think about all of the things Christ preached and promoted, he was a Flaming Liberal. Love Thine Enemy. Forgive your trespassers care for the young, the old, and the poor, Throw the money changers out of the Temple, Don’t Preach on the street corners, give unto Caesar that with is Caesar’s and Give to the Lord, that which is his, and My Favorite, go home, kneel down in your closet and do your praying alone. :+)

What, no hookers and blow? Damn RINO!

    • Roctuna April 16th, 2016 at 10:15

Not in front of the kids, don’t ya know!

  9. clemans April 16th, 2016 at 07:39

has he also been charged with child abuse and neglect? This nation does not seem to really care about our best asset, our children. He endangered those kids by driving drunk and by speeding……he should not be allowed to have kids in his car again……and probably not allowed to drive on his own either.

    • The Original Just Me April 17th, 2016 at 04:16

Having four Republican raised kids in the car is enough to drive anyone to drink. :+)

      • clemans April 17th, 2016 at 07:13

watch him use that as his excuse!

        • The Original Just Me April 17th, 2016 at 08:59

He will blame it on something or somebody that is for sure. It could never be His fault. It is like when Sen. Risch from Idaho, A Devote Mormon, was picked up in the middle of the night for DUI. He only did it because of stress.

          • clemans April 17th, 2016 at 09:01

really, I think it was the booze that did it……maybe if his job is so stressful he needs a new one?
            smiles

            • The Original Just Me April 17th, 2016 at 09:08

I think he should just retire and go away. But they would just anoint someone worse than him. This is Red Idaho.

              • clemans April 17th, 2016 at 09:13

                I sadly understand.

                • The Original Just Me April 17th, 2016 at 09:19

Back in the Eighties, i was a very active Democrat. I tried to tell them what was happening but they just scorned me. O’Well, there is NO Democratic Party in Idaho today. And, i am an Independent.

                  • clemans April 17th, 2016 at 09:31

I left the republican party, or got left out because I just couldn’t or wouldn’t go batshit crazy just because my family had mostly been republican. So I assumed that made me a democrat. I started going to the democratic luncheons, listening to the speeches and meeting local politicians…most of the talk was just republican-lite without the focus on batshit crazy……it wasn’t enough to build party loyalty.

I want to develop a new party, one for activists who do care enough about issues they will do something to make change.

                    Where are the progressives?

                    • The Original Just Me April 17th, 2016 at 09:36

Look up the words Liberal, Progressive, and Conservative in the dictionary. The true meanings of those words are real eye openers. I’m off to bed for awhile. Later

                    • clemans April 17th, 2016 at 10:07

I have looked them up and you are correct….good night.

  10. Roctuna April 16th, 2016 at 10:16

He just wanted to be prepared for a road rage incident, that’s all.

  11. The Original Just Me April 17th, 2016 at 04:15

225 by 2:45 P.M. WOW, those Screwdrivers for breakfast really start your day off nice.

  12. CPT_Dixon April 17th, 2016 at 06:01

There’s nothing to get excited about. Jesus has already forgiven him.
