Christian burger chain threatening legal action against model who plays with their food in video

In-N-Out Burger  is unhappy with model Abigail Ratchford.

the chain…wears the owners’ Christianity on its sleeves, literally. They print Bible verses on their food packages, including the burger wrappers…

Apparently, the chain has been flooded with complaints, probably from customers who have been grossly offended by this video dozens of times apiece.

I think Paris Hilton did a similar kind of commercial for them a long time ago? Maybe it wasn’t the same burger joint, since we don’t have this one in NY?
I would think the company has some grounds for action on this. Not the image they want to project, thinking it’s a family place.

when someone mentions nut job “christians” and “family ‘values'” in the same sentence, i can’t help but to laugh.

    It’s free advertising…
You sell burgers you dumb fks…not salvation….you have no control over what people do with your product once they leave the store.
    STFU….

Parody and lampooning have high protection under the First Amendment.

As they should… they are one of the most effective ways to speak truth to power;.

If you are rich and powerful, get a thick skin and count your money.

I’ve eaten at In-and-Out more than a few times and didn’t notice the bible verses. (Or I forgot that I saw them — it was years ago.)

But, I remember jokes and innuendo about the “In and Out” name.

I checked the video out 200 times and I think it’s in fine taste – much better than xianburgers and fries.

I thought she was tasteful and I don’t know about the food.

Well I am offended by the homophobic & racist comments along with anti-Christian-American actions of many “Christians”. I am also offended about their tax free status that is costing the my country money and causing my taxes to go up.

I am also morally offended by how a church can open a business opposite another business but because it doesn’t pay any taxes, it has an unfair advantage. It also doesn’t need to pay it”s employees a fair wage.

I would sue but the Christians in our government have persecuted Atheists so much that I can not hold public office in many areas and may be fired because I am an Atheist. IN SHORT: These Christians need to shut the fuck up.

Animals are on the menu. I find that more offensive.
