The NRA makes it more difficult for you to buy a likeness of its mascot, Eddie Eagle, than to buy a real live gun.

The National Rifle Association has made it nearly impossible to purchase a likeness of its gun safety mascot, Eddie Eagle, while fighting to make it easier for Americans to get their hands on deadly weapons.

TBS’s “Full Frontal” host Samantha Bee uncovered the gun group’s bizarre anti-eagle costume policy while trying to acquire her own furry bird suit.
