Starbucks barista wrote ‘Diabetes here I come’ on customer’s drink

The shamer should have realized it’s “unemployment here I come.”

The customer, who has chosen to remain anonymous, says simply that two of his sisters suffer from Type 1 (juvenile diabetes), and that he is not looking for an apology.

In [an] email, the Starbucks manager continued, “We are working directly with the customer to apologize for his experience, and with our partners (employees) to ensure this does not happen again.”

Every now and then I’ll splurge at Starbucks. I’m acutely aware that what I order isn’t good for me. Once I said to the Barista “hey this is just pretty much a milkshake huh?”. She replied “Yeah it’s just liquid candy that has a very distant relationship with actual coffee”.

Just goes to show you, there is seldom a perfect solution. Starbucks is a leader in terms of how employees are treated and the benefits they are given. For that reason, I do patronize them from time to time. I like supporting companies that treat their workers like human beings. It is a shame that it is made possible because we all consume drinks that are not all that healthy. Or I guess I should say you all. I take my coffee black with no sugar. I might have a Vanilla Latte on my birthday, but that’s about it.

Why that customer and not the thousands of others she might have served….??
    Fire her….
If true about his sisters, he might want to be careful drinking Latte’s
