They need to stay off The Twitter.

Michael Cohen, an executive vice president at the Trump Organization and special counsel to Donald Trump, retweeted on Sunday evening an endorsement from @RepStevenSmith, Republican from Georgia’s 15th Congressional District, Tea Party Patriot, and parody account.

    I can’t believe I am doing this. But I must defend the Trump campaign in this regard.

    This is not the first time that the fictional Rep. Smith has fooled someone. CNN’s Christiane Amanpour fell for it back in 2013. Entertainer Rosie O Donnell also was fooled, all because for some reason, Twitter has become a system of record.

    It is symptomatic of what I think is the slow but steady dumbing down of America, and in this unique example I am afraid that both sides are in fact doing it.

    With all the information at our fingertips, how difficult is it to ascertain that there is no 15th Congressional district in Georgia and there is no Congressman Smith? People see something on Twitter, assume it is real, and hilarity ensues. In a quote attributed to P.T. Barnum, it is said that there is a sucker born every minute. Whether or not Barnum actually said that, what is clear is that in the 21st century, suckers are no longer born, they are made.

    They open Twitter accounts, believe everything they read, and it goes downhill from there. Stay away from Twitter. It rots your brain..

      they are supposed to be “professionals” if they can’t do their homework then that’s too bad. it’s not the first time they have tweeted crap that was a lie and then take it back. just like when one of his ‘barf” offsprings took to the airwaves on a racist kkklown radio show, they said they didn’t know who he was. i don’t believe it, but if they want to run with that, they tough cookie.
