Trump blows off pro-life leaders
He bailed on them.
Trump was reportedly expected to address Priests for Life and the 115 Forum conference during a conference call on Wednesday. But he bailed. Leslie Palma, a spokesperson for Priests for Life, told The Daily Beast that Trump did not dial-in.
A conservative operative with knowledge of the call told The Daily Beast that pro-life leaders involved were disappointed Trump decided not to speak with them.

He will only meet with the fools who blindly support him. They never require him to know what he is talking about and they clap just because he is breathing. These conservative groups have actual questions that need to be answered with logical answers. He is as serious about being the President as I about becoming a nun.

I won’t dismiss people just because of one view they have. I have friends and relatives that do not agree with me politically, but we just don’t talk about such issues around one another. The people on the right exclude people if they don’t fall in line, I don’t believe that is an asset and neither are closed minds.

i don’t have time or patience to listen to a bunch of men discuss issues that deal with women and their rights to privacy. and i most certainly don’t have time or patience to listen to a bunch of women that call themselves “pro-life” advocates when they are not. just women who can’t think for themselves as for as i’m concerned.

I think that we leftists, liberals, progressives, Democrats et al had better stay vigilant.
With the absolute chaos surrounding the GOP nominating process, it is tempting to think that there is no way we can possibly lose to these guys. We must avoid falling into the complacency trap. Quite often, thinking that you cannot lose is exactly when you are most vulnerable to losing.
I was 16 years old when the “invincible” Baltimore Colts who were so good that the legendary John Unitas was sitting on the bench, lost to the upstart NY Jets led by a long-haired quarterback named Joe Namath in Super Bowl 3 (before Roman numerals). The Jets had no chance of winning according to the experts. The game would be a mismatch. Final score was Jets 16-7.
I had bet $10 which in 1969 was a heck of a lot of money for a teenager. I have never forgotten that lesson. Defeat is always a possibility. Especially when you think it could never happen.

They’re men who want to take away women’s rights.
They want take away women’s control over their own bodies and access to legal healthcare services.
