NC loses 400 jobs because of anti-LGBT law

PayPal has scrapped plans for a Charlotte operations center.

In a move that will cost the city hundreds of jobs, PayPal on Tuesday scrapped plans for a new Charlotte operations center in the most dramatic corporate response yet to a new North Carolina law that limits the legal protections of LGBT individuals.

The payment processor’s decision led to renewed calls for Gov. Pat McCrory and the state legislature to overturn a measure that has drawn criticism from big companies such as Bank of America and American Airlines as well as sports organizations such as the NBA.

The law’s backers, however, showed no sign of retreating. They placed blame on Charlotte city leaders who passed an expanded non-discrimination ordinance that spurred the state legislation.

In a volley among gubernatorial candidates, N.C. Attorney General Roy Cooper, a Democrat challenging McCrory, said the legislation, known as House Bill 2, poses a threat to the state’s economy.

Those that would deny equal rights don’t care if you’re out of work and your children starve because of their “Christian” beliefs.

There is only a slight problem with the Am. Corps. moving out of a Red Neck State. They move to where the wages are the lowest which is another Total Red State and therefore hire the lowest intellect available.

After reading the article in the Charlotte Observer, I noticed that those who had a role in passing this new law are blaming everyone else except themselves—Washington, special interest groups, the city of Charlotte for passing an equality ordinance, “misinformation,” etc—neither of which actually voted for the new law.

Kewel – that’s how it should be.

And these states who sign these heinous laws into effect need to learn that when the jobs leave, they do NOT come back when they get the law overturned.

They need to leave and NEVER go back.

IF any of these So Called Right Wing Christian Nut Cases would ever read the Bible themselves, they would realize that everything that they preach is against what Christ taught. Also Everything that Christ taught is what the So Called Left Wing Activists are trying to Promote. Bottom line, Who are the True Followers of Jesus Christ ?

You have to wonder how many of those idiots voted for McCory and the other state reps and if they find that this was worth it.
