Koch wants Ryan

Posted by | April 4, 2016 20:00 | Filed under: Politics

Charles Koch is betting Paul Ryan will emerge as the presidential nominee in Cleveland if Donald Trump is shy of the required delegates.

Koch believes Ryan would be a “shoo-in” at a contested convention, should the campaign get to that point. Though Koch’s wealth gives him significant influence within the Republican Party, it does not necessarily translate into skill in political prognostication. Still, he and his brother David are fond of Ryan. As a source close to the brothers told The Huffington Post, they appreciate the agenda he has pursued as speaker, including opposition to tax extenders and heightened warnings against corporate welfare — positions that contrast with the admittedly vague portfolio pushed by Donald Trump.

I hope the Koch boys buy Ryan as the GOP candidate because the mutiny by the marching moron republican base will be spectacular.

Wait, what? He had an agenda as speaker and he pursued it? Doing nothing is an agenda? How do you proceed at doing nothing? I have a right wing unemployed uncle who would love to add this to his bucket of reasons of why he hasn’t had a job in 30 years.

      Ryan’s career path continues plummeting.

    A Ryan re-tread?
Won’t get much mileage out of him.

Over a year ago I was in a horrible condition , jobless and no bank credit ..af Thanks to one of my friends who showed me a way where I was able to gather myself and making average of 58 d/h. So it can change your life as it has changed mine. Why not try this.

Which just goes to show that being rich don’t make you smart.

NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE WEALTHY….they will do most anything to make them richer, and the poor, even poorer…the Koch Boys are not stupid…in fact they outsmarted us for years…now we have paid the price with corrupted governors in the red states…and republicans have majorities in their respective State Houses…the Koch boys have encouraged criminal behavior, and they have done quite a bit of damage to our Democracy…they are the domestic enemies we have been warned about by our Founders and writers of our Constitution…

Corruption doesn’t take brains. It takes cold hard cash. An idiot’s money spends as well as any. Bob McDonnell was more concerned with the cash and gifts than in who was giving it. If brains were a requirement to offer a bribe, why would so many politicians get caught?

And the fact that they are willing to cheat doesn’t make the wealthy smart either. Just means that they are willing to act unethically.

To think that we live in a country where people get paid to accomplish nothing and a billionaire wants to hire their leader.
