Missouri lawmaker wants to stop abortion because he’s a ‘former embryo’

Posted by | March 30, 2016 12:41 | Filed under: News Behaving Badly Politics

Missouri State Rep. Mike Moon is an expert on embryos, having been one himself.

After comparing abortion to the enslavement of African-Americans, Moon reportedly drew laughter from the room when he revealed the foundation of his knowledge of human reproduction.

“As a former embryo myself, I would like protection for all embryos,” he declared.

How do idiots like this get to positions where they can affect people’s lives?

    • Roctuna March 30th, 2016 at 19:08

Sadly lots of other idiots vote ’em in.

  2. Bunya March 30th, 2016 at 13:46

People like Mike Moon are an excellent reason to keep abortion legal.

Alan will probably post this eventually, but I’ll put it here. VA governor McAuliffe has vetoed a “religious freedom” (misdirection alert!) bill. https://www.washingtonpost.com/local/virginia-politics/mcauliffe-vetoes-religious-freedom-bill-to-chagrin-of-conservatives/2016/03/30/702a7fe6-f5f4-11e5-8b23-538270a1ca31_story.html

He was also a fertilized egg. Does that make him a chicken?

    • Dwendt44 March 30th, 2016 at 17:40

Early on he had a tail and gill slits.

He used to be a sperm cell as well. I wonder if he will go out and try to get protection for all the innocent sperm cells in the world. Effing idiot.

Not to mention that up to 80% of conceptions are flushed out naturally.
      Prison for Mother Nature.

I’m not sure he ever was an embryo. After looking at that hair and cheesy ‘stache I’m wondering if he isn’t some kind of plasticized clone gone bad.

Was … and still is — stagnated development syndrome.

I am getting a salary of 6600 dollars each week. Over a year ago I was in a horrible condition , jobless and no bank credit ..oss Thanks to one of my friends who showed me a way where I was able to gather myself and making average of 58 d/h. So it can change your life as it has changed mine. Why not try this.

      Look here for details

I have a better idea….why don’t we just go step further and prevent ova from being attacked by sperm? That would be the ultimate protection for an embryo.
