Listen: Woman calls 911 to report incorrect pizza order
The Hartford, CT woman must have been hungry.
“If you go over there, you can call and have an officer meet you there,” she said. “But an officer isn’t going to just call them and have them give you your money back.”
The dispatcher took Ashley’s information, told her to wait outside the pizza shop, and sent an officer to the location. According to the pizza place, the woman ate half the pizza, demanded her money back plus another pizza. Police told the owners to “forget it.”

On an episode of “Cops” a while back, a man called 911 requesting emergency help. When the cops and ambulance arrived at his house, the man told them his dealer took his money, but didn’t deliver the maryjane. Of course, the cops told them there was nothing they could do, but it makes me wonder if people who make frivolous 911 calls are fined.

Absolutely…

But that’s not that worst they do…in some jurisdictions your landlord could throw you out if you call 911 too often, forcing women in abusive relationships to choose between calling the cops or becoming homeless.
