Nation’s first adoptable dog cafe

Posted by | March 29, 2016 12:34 | Filed under: Planet

You get to sip on lattes and play with dogs.

The Los Angeles cafe, aptly named, “The Dog Cafe,” will open its doors to West Coast pooches on April 7 right off the Golden State’s Silver Lake Boulevard.

Cafe owner Sarah Wolfgang said the vision for the cafe is to provide a fun and relaxed atmosphere for patrons to interact with the cafe’s canines – who will all be up for adoption.

That is a great idea, the noise level must be high….but dogs getting adopted and love makes it perfect.

The noise may be high, but it is happy, joyful noise. I could listen to that all day.

I volunteer in shelters, the noise is not happy. This sounds like a perfect way for dogs to chose their humans. Small and intimate.

Oh no, not that kind of noise. That is sad and depressing noise, I wish I owned a big enough farm and I could take care of hundreds of “unwanted” dogs because I want them.

My vet asked me if I wanted to adopt a 4.5 lb yorkie that was abandoned. The people who found him are paying for a few issues that will be resolved soon. Hubs told me I am entering the path of dog hoarder if I take her in…4 is a lot of dogs.

That was the most I had at one time. If I had a safe building for them to sleep in at night and a meadow for them to run around in during the day, I would happily provide dogs a loving home so they don’t get put down.

I have just that…but I will stop at 3 and eventualy have only one small dog.

The one I have now is little, I love him to pieces but I miss hiking and playing with my big babies. My brothers roommate has a 2 year old Yellow Lab and I get to go over there and play with him whenever I can.

Visit me and play with 2 borders, one is young and wears me out. I actually had to run 2.5 miles yesterday to exercise her.lol, I HATE running.

Oh, I love running especially with dogs. I focus more on them then what I am doing and before I realize how long I have run, it is over. They keep my mind off of my exertion and that is valuable.

Hate it, but my girl needs it. a jog, fast walk is not enough for her. I have to sneak out with her to run.

I wonder how this could be modified so that someone could make money and help these people searching for a fur baby.
