Fake abortion clinics outnumber real ones 3-1

These fake clinics are almost impossible to regulate, and deceive women into thinking they have no anti-abortion agenda.

Called “crisis pregnancy centers” (CPCs), these clinics advertise free pregnancy tests to get patients in the door, but ultimately lean heavily on junk science and spiritual guilt to talk women out of having an abortion. In January, California became the first state in the country to enact a law successfully cracking down on the state’s nearly 350 misleading clinics.

At least in theory.

In practice, it’s been very difficult for California’s groundbreaking law to make any real difference. That’s because three conservative anti-abortion organizations have filed sweeping lawsuits against the officials responsible for enforcing the law — and their threats could effectively freeze any enforcement for the unforeseeable future.

the anti-abortion crowd have been lying, exaggerating and distorting since 1973, they aren’t going to stop now.Quite a scam they have going. Lure the unaware if not ignorant into the office then brow beat them and intimidate and pressure them to not have an abortion. Hmmm.

They’re real sneaky about that. They lure women in crisis into their center, giving the victim that it’s a planned parenthood clinic, and they will tell them they’re only 2 weeks pregnant, when she’s actually 4 weeks along; and they will tell them that abortion causes breast cancer, which is a totally unfounded claim. Truly disgusting.

The anti-choice forced birthers don’t give a damn about the mother or child afterward. They won’t be happy until women and girls are dying in back alley abortions again.

    Evil bastards!

If only they could be made to adopt unwanted babies (unwanted due to defects, rape, incest and whatever reasons to make a tough decision for a woman to have an abortion) that they stopped from being aborted.

It’s all hypocrisy by right wing Xtians and the GOP.

    Republicans are shameless political hypocrites.
Legislation designed to make an end run around a constitutionally protected medical procedure is dishonest and unconstitutional.
The document is sacred text when it comes to the 2nd A but a bit “hazy” everywhere else…

Can you imagine how much worse things are going to become, if they could get any worse for women, under a Trump or Cruz in the WH scenario?
