Black man befriends KKK members to get them to change

Blues musician Daryl Davis is called a “race traitor” by some.

Chicago blues musician Daryl Davis claims to have convinced 25 members of the Ku Klux Klan to leave the racist organization with little more than friendly conversation.

But, as seen in the new documentary Accidental Courtesy, which made its world premier at SXSW festival this week, he doesn’t have quite the same rapport with some members of the Black Lives Matter movement.

The film follows Davis and his associates – some of whom appear clothed in KKK robes and hats – as he talks about his mission to win over entrenched racists. ‘I try to bring out the humanity in people,’ he told The Daily Beast on Wednesday. ‘We all are human beings at the end of the day.’

That is the only way to kill hate, we all need to get outside or our boxes and new experiences will erase any type of generalization a person may of once had.

As a Black man, i have no problem with this! I have experienced the same thing, I knew some hard-core racist that use to come into my music store (Sam Goody’s) when they were still around, after treating them with respect and helping them find music, they started coming in the store just to talk to me and found out we had a lot in common about sports, video games, movies and girls! It didn’t always turn out that way, i got called the n-word sometimes but the few that did change was worth it!

Now THERE’S something you don’t see every day…
One would think that all humans sharing mortality as a species should be
a sufficient motive to try to get along better.
It saddens me think that this mutual inclination wont happen sooner than it ought to.

I am getting a salary of 5900 dollars each week…qty Over a year ago I was in a horrible condition , jobless and no bank credit . Thanks to one of my friends who showed me a way where I was able to gather myself and making average of 56 d/h. So it can change your life as it has changed mine. Why not try this.
