Who didnt see this coming? LIBERALS, Thats who! We liven in an automated world, Self checkout at the grocery store, Automated Ticket kiosks in air ports, Automated teller machines, Red Box DVD rentals, Pay at the pump self serve gas, Amazon. And city after liberal city raises minimum wage. The future is consigning liberalism to the dust bin of history.

missed your meds again eh? you have 2 brain cells left. please allow them to regenerate to the max of 6. damn derp.

    • Dwendt44 March 19th, 2016 at 00:04

And every city that has done so has seen a marked increase in business, profits, and a decrease in needed services for those with less.

    • Tommie March 19th, 2016 at 01:17

That just means more and more people will be dependent on the government, which the right hates so much and will not be able to do anything about it and if things in this country were not so high, people would be able survive! Everything goes up in this country but salaries!

    • Kick Frenzy March 19th, 2016 at 01:42

Yeah, and all those automated systems just magically create themselves.
Nobody actually needs to program anything or assemble the automated machines.
Computers totally know exactly how we want them to program themselves and how we wish them to function, especially on a human-connection level.

Imagine if there were jobs creating those things!
That could actually provide humans with jobs!

      • rg9rts March 19th, 2016 at 03:14

Imagine a robot that could replace reichwing bloggers….probably hung over from St Paddy’s day

        • Kick Frenzy March 19th, 2016 at 04:19

I don’t know… there would have to be a pretty advanced program to imitate all that hate and word salad!

          • rg9rts March 19th, 2016 at 06:57

His name is Macnamara…..The robot would be the skynet prototype

    • rg9rts March 19th, 2016 at 03:12

      HEY GARY!!!!!!!! HOW’S IT HANGIN????????

    • Hirightnow March 19th, 2016 at 07:02

Right. There was NEVER going to be automation in the conservative utopia.
What RW CEO was ever going to say to themselves “Gee…I could replace my workers with robots and computer programs, but that would only lead to more profits for me!! Better not…”?
Of course, you can thank the LIBERAL ARTS for the ability to even do this.

    • bpollen March 19th, 2016 at 07:32

You must never have read any science fiction. Liberals saw it coming more than 50 years ago. But of course, conservatives are, by definition, not forward-looking individuals.

    • Mike March 19th, 2016 at 10:19

Hey Einstein, it’s liberals creating, programming, and marketing, all the tech that makes robotics possible….we can still feel sorry for R’s with no skill sets forced to flip burgers or work in radio…(same thing really)

    • Roctuna March 19th, 2016 at 11:49

In the conservative world it’s better to be paid sub-minimum wage in a greasy sweatshop than a decent wage in a high tech manufacturing job assembling and programming robots.

    • robert March 19th, 2016 at 21:06

And city after liberal city raises minimum wage.
      —————–
Because we all know conservatives are all in the IT business
      Good research RER

      • Red Eye Robot March 20th, 2016 at 23:48

You missed the part about unskilled labor getting too expensive?

        • robert March 26th, 2016 at 19:32

Nope thats a misprint, white collar management is often over budget

  2. Obewon March 18th, 2016 at 23:35

The robot programming market continues to bloom exponentially via Moore’s Law.

If a lot of businesses do this, expect to see a a huge rise in crime!

  4. Warman1138 March 19th, 2016 at 02:17

Sooner or later a decision will have to be made on how much humanity is replaced by machines. It isn’t so much about cost and efficiency but weather it is right or wrong. People have to have something to do, if Hardees wants to replace workers with machines they’ll have to change their business to accommodate the change in customers. People without jobs don’t have money to spend. So that’ll be less stores and product that can be afforded.

  5. rg9rts March 19th, 2016 at 03:11

Now if we could do the same thing with CEOs

  6. SupaGhetto March 19th, 2016 at 06:02

This from the man with the best damn breakfast sandwich in the whole country! Don’t be a hater Mr. Hardees/ Carl Jr’s………Say it ain’t so paww….Say it ain’t so! ( in my best Laura Ingram voice)!

  7. CandideThirtythree March 19th, 2016 at 08:52

So just like it was in the movie ‘Idiocracy’? Hahahaha I said from the beginning that movie was prophetic and every week in America there is more and more proof of that.

The technology’s cool but it’s not ready for prime time and the market’s not there

I openly admit to being on the pro tech side of this argument…
Machines and computers don’t take our jobs away, they do a lot of work freeing us up to do other things.
While it’s true someone will lose their job at Hardee’s, someone else will have to make the machine that replaces him and someone else will have to install, maintain, and operate, that machine. No one screamed when ATM’s made tellers go the way of the dinosaur…accountants say Quickbooks has hurt their business, Lawyers say the same about all the cheap programs for wills, incorporation, etc., Heck, half the big box stores in the US do 50% of their sales online…but we’ve created 9 million new jobs in the last 7 years.

A little light machine oil in the mix , will the knowledge palates of their customer notice

  11. clemans April 5th, 2016 at 19:52

to me this is an argument in favor of Bernie, he is the only one talking about free education for all. If low paying jobs are going towards automation, and they are, only better educated people will have jobs. When Mitt was running, he said that the lobs of the future would be so low that it wouldn’t pay to educate OUR kids, his of course were a different matter. We would have to rewrite the American Dream to exclude college for OUR kids and home ownership for them…..we needed to become a nation of renters…..then FOX talked about that all week long, conservative ears didn’t hear a word of it.

An educated public should be a national security issue.

I would see that place as cold, empty, and unfriendly…….and I would never go there……I only eat at fast foods a few times, then prefer Culver’s but I do have 22 grandkids and they like to go to places like Hardee”s every once in awhile…….this grandma won’t take them to Hardee’s
