Republican establishment ‘disgusted’ with ‘opportunistic’ Christie

Posted by | February 27, 2016 18:00 | Filed under: News Behaving Badly Politics

Who knew Chris Christie would lie to all parties involved when he was trying to win the presidential nomination? Well, we all knew he would, but that doesn’t mean when a candidate directly swears to something, it doesn’t mean they won’t stand by it. But we know what kind of man Chris is, so when Gov.…

He has been a lot more for a lot longer than a lot of folks think…closing a large, highly used bridge, on the first day of school was a brilliant opportunity…except he got caught…

saying he would fund pensions to get elected was another

The first thing I thought was, “Well, he found a way to escape from having to do his job in NJ… again.”

I’m sure I’m not alone in my complete lack of surprise over his endorsement of Trump.

I don’t think I’ve seen a more revolting sight than those two standing together. Big ambitions with even bigger foul mouths that tell the biggest lies all of the time.

      • Kick Frenzy February 27th, 2016 at 22:31

        HEY!
        We agree on something!

        lmao
        :)

I think you will find we agree on most everything. Later in the year we will be totally in sync. :)

Funny, these people act like wasn’t this dreadful before.

  4. Guy Lauten February 27th, 2016 at 19:57

You mean somebody actually expected Christie to keep his word? On ANYTHING?
Their naivete is astounding. I have a bridge they might like to purchase…

      How’s the traffic?

Looking for the VP spot from Trump.

      Or Attorney General.

      Either way… *shudder*

What goes around comes around. The RNC is just feeling some of the same two faced right wing lying liars we have been dealing with for 7 years. It shouldn’t be any surprise to anyone whatsoever that they might stab someone in the back, it’s what the lunatic fringe does.

    • whatthe46 February 27th, 2016 at 20:44

they’ve been “lying liar” for decades, now they are getting a taste of what they’ve been dishing out.

  7. mistlesuede February 27th, 2016 at 22:19

“I didn’t have anything to do with the bridge closure.”

  8. William February 27th, 2016 at 22:26

It’s hysterical. Crisco is going off on Rubio for having a no show, job. Yet Christie has been everywhere except the state he’s supposed to be governor of. The good people have gone from paying a guy to campaign all over the USA to paying a guy to be Trumps b*tch.
Oh well. I guess Christie figures he can buy a lot of mouthwash with VP salary

Not only is your statement perfect, so is that pic!
      Hot damn, that’s just… perfect!

    The art of the deal.

  10. bpollen February 27th, 2016 at 23:42

    Wouldn’t that be self-disgust?

  11. CHOCOL8MILK February 28th, 2016 at 01:23

I’m not surprised. They are friends (approx a little over 10 years), and both of their families spend time together. Both of their wives are friends. Plus Trump and Christie are both bullies…so yea makes sense.

From the above article: “Well, we all knew he would, but that doesn’t mean when a candidate directly swears to something, it doesn’t mean they won’t stand by it.”

That’s a little convoluted with three negatives. Why couldn’t the writer just have said, “Well, we all knew he would, but that doesn’t mean when a candidate directly swears to something, it means they will stand by it”?
