No Mr. Bush we do not need a faith leader as President of the United States.

I have no desire to live in a theocracy, regardless of whether it is imposed by Christians citing the Bible or Muslims citing Sharia.

It is all the same. Everyone is entitled to believe in whatever mythology comforts them. No political leader is entitled or empowered under our constitution to elevate one mythology above any other.

Preach it Jeb! Preach it loud and strong! Gotta get those evangelicals away from the Cruzer!
On second thought … light up a doobie, chill, and mellow out.

    • Larry Schmitt February 12th, 2016 at 16:43

If you want to read something really scary, google Mary Lou Bruner and read some of the ideas she wants to bring to the Texas State Board of Education. http://bluenationreview.com/meet-mary-lou-bruner/

You’re right, she is damn scary. And almost no one votes for those positions.

    • Suzanne McFly February 12th, 2016 at 16:39

Don’t worry, if they keep talking like that they will keep losing the Presidency.

      • Buford2k11 February 12th, 2016 at 18:51

I pray that you are right..

        • Suzanne McFly February 12th, 2016 at 19:12

I have faith we have not sunk that low. I admit, when bush stole the election I started to lose faith, but President Obama showed me America is worth having faith in.

  12. CHOCOL8MILK February 12th, 2016 at 19:50

Yea Jeb, we really need the American Christian version of Ali Khamenei. SMH. What amazes me is that there are people who will vote for him. I honestly can’t wait for the old religious (evangelical) crowd in the GOP to die out. 10-20 years folks! Hang in there!!!

  13. KABoink_after_wingnut_hacker February 12th, 2016 at 20:52

  15. Bunya February 16th, 2016 at 14:15

Please! The last thing we need is another president who thinks “God wants me to bring democracy to (insert name of country here)”.
