Ask Trump’s supporters about this, and they’ll say it doesn’t matter, that happened before he was running for POTUS. These persons’ capacity to dismiss past actions and pretend they never happened or are no longer important is appalling. OTOH, if it’s someone they don’t like/support, everything the person did, including the time they hit another kid in the sandbox when they were two years old, is relevant and an indication that the person has always possessed criminal tendencies.
