Oh please. “When in Rome, do as the Romans do” etc.

I thought it was “When in Rome, do the Romans.” I read it on the internet.

Maybe they could do something similar when school children visit the Vatican … take all the abusive priests that they’re protecting from legal action and put panels around them.

I see some streakers in the future!

In Rome, like Romans. Do you have this saying?

    • Larry Schmitt January 26th, 2016 at 11:01

      See Budda’s post.

Thanks Larry! I missed it. :)

I’m at work now, so there’s no ad blocker. There’s a WND ad with a poll: Is Obama the worst president in history? I’m pretty sure he would rate that way on WND, but pure facts prove he is far from it. And I bet the comments are full of racist and other offensive stuff.

I am assuming it is a rabid right wing site. I only go to those sites when Alan has a link to read the story because one shower a day is enough. How can a person lead a healthy life with so much hate in their body? I would hate myself if I felt that way and I imagine they do hate themselves.

      • Larry Schmitt January 26th, 2016 at 11:23

World Net Daily, commonly called World Nut or Wing Nut Daily. Definitely rabid, and definitely right wing.

I am allergic to those sites, they give me rashes and nightmares.

          • Larry Schmitt January 26th, 2016 at 13:41

They’re all full of hate. That kind of anger just takes too much effort. It’s easier to be pleasant to people.

Only savages do not appreciate art and why would Rome of all places want to let in the savages at the gate?

Are they going to remove any offensive books while he’s there too? Cover up the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel? Lots of skin there.

    • Gina Bousquet January 26th, 2016 at 11:26

They forgot the Sistine Chapel!! Off of the city tour!

Who cares, this is just the first step. I will worry about this if it continues through time, but at this moment I think the fact we are shaking hands and not dropping bombs is a beautiful thing.

Cowards. Wouldn’t want to offend the sky daddy cultist.

It’s to save the statues from looking at that Iranian president.

I don’t know if the Shah would have been offended by the nude statues, but kudos to the Vatican for planning ahead and exhibiting common courtesy to make sure their guests aren’t insulted.
