Aww, except for doctor’s appointments that is. I’ve got one this morning at 10 as a matter of fact to FINALLY get my damned teeth cleaned. Monday, I’m back at the radiologist’s and hope that this time these are the last tests. One of them is for osteo which I already know I have so no big news on that front and the other in the pelvic area and I don’t care about it either for that matter. So I’ll be trapped there for about 2 1/2 to 3 hrs. and a friend will drop me off and I’ll call her when I’m done.

fair question – probably until isreal is not following the orders given like panama, the shah, Saddam etc – all friends until they weren’t.

Bibi is feeling his oats and thinks Trump is POTUS

    • F_cons January 22nd, 2016 at 09:02

It looks to me like any of the people currently running would be loyal to Bibi

      • rg9rts January 22nd, 2016 at 09:19

more like Netanyahu is trying to force US to place a knife at our own throat – a fair bet on his part that our options are limited -and /or there will have to be major alliance shifts that most Americans are unwilling to make. Smart -but risky -move on his part. It could very well start a regional conflict that will spill over into the international arena very rapidly. It will either strengthen US military support for Israel, or bring the world much closer to a world wide conflict that could become Nuclear in an extremely short period of time. My guess is the US will abstain from any vote in the UN against Israel (thereby reigniting animosities pre our recent Iranian Treaty) with China, Russia and the DPRK backing Iran.

Its a BS story…went to Reuters…the truth is that it is an internal political squabble …

  3. rg9rts January 22nd, 2016 at 09:17

This is half the story…the defense ministry refused to validate Israeli purchases of land from the Palestinians and are now being forcefully removed from their(?) lands…so in response …Mr 1 vote majority is sabre rattling ….

If Syria’s Assad, or Iranian mullahs ripped off citizens land, USA & EU would levy sanctions.
Israel has not built settlements in E1, with construction considered a “red line” by the United States and the EU. It could potentially split the West Bank, cutting Palestinians off from East Jerusalem, which they seek for their capital.

“This is the third time they demolished my house and every time I rebuilt it, this time also I will rebuild it and I am not leaving here. If we leave they will turn the place into a closed military zone,” said Saleem Jahaleen, whose home was razed.

This won’t help middle east tensions

    • granpa.usthai January 22nd, 2016 at 15:49

It does suck US in a little deeper into the mideast maze of conflicts leaving US with little choice but to support Israel or make radical changes in alliances in the region.
This will no doubt cause US some losses in Asian areas with populations of predominantly Islam that are much needed in our attempts to keep China’s expansion from accelerating beyond our current capabilities. It goes well beyond the mideast.

this collection of russian runaways and eastern europeans have brought an ugliness to an isreal that, if it weren’t for gazillions of us dollars, would not exist.

    • tracey marie January 22nd, 2016 at 16:03

      this is BIBI, not others.

How is this not state-sponsored terrorism? Homes destroyed, livelihoods ruined, land confiscated…

    • Gina Bousquet January 22nd, 2016 at 18:32

It is State terrorism, Israel style.

  8. mistlesuede January 22nd, 2016 at 13:35

Can we stop sending them ANY money or arms now?

  9. tracey marie January 22nd, 2016 at 13:52

    Why do we support Israel?

    • granpa.usthai January 22nd, 2016 at 15:36

they have been a reliable ally of the US in a region of the world where for the most part we are not very well liked. No doubt this will encourage more anti-American animosity if we fail to renounce it – especially among Iranian hardliners. Even if the US abstains in a UN Vote, we’re still going to get screwed by this move.

    • Gina Bousquet January 22nd, 2016 at 18:31

Such good question, without any reasonable answer…

    • Mike January 22nd, 2016 at 19:07

      Cuz they’re just like us…

  10. granpa.usthai January 22nd, 2016 at 15:24

this will not bode well for Israel and will only promote more support for the Palestinians in the world arena.
