“Worships at his feet”? “gag reflex”? Is this is some kind of Duggar or Bristol crappola?

    • tracey marie January 21st, 2016 at 17:23

Knew a repressed homosexual with a toe fetish…
      Very conservative, he was.

Good answers and unfortunatly to the rwnj’s they believe the entire country should regress back to another era.

That father has a creepy look on his face. I imagine a thought bubble saying “Daddy likes!”.

“Let’s make sure the kids don’t act in sin.”
    “How?”
“By teaching them all about how wrong sin is, describing that sin, and telling them that it’s wrong, because sin is wrong.”
That’s a GREAT idea; the kids will surely never sin if we tell them what a sin is and not to sin! Kids listen!”
“I know, right? I’m just amazed nobody thought of this long ago!”

What is it these people don’t understand about “public” schools? If I were a parent of one of those kids, I would demand that someone lose his job. Like principals and superintendents. But we all know that is not happening. This sounds more like Texas or Alabama than Colorado.

    • TiredOldGuy49 January 21st, 2016 at 18:19

They just don’t care about laws as long as they can justify their actions in their own little minds.

    • Buford2k11 January 21st, 2016 at 21:14

I looked into a similar program that was run in our school…we are district 50, right next door…there has been an influx of Koch money to purchase these school boards, and it is looking like the payoff is starting early…the Program that I looked into which was run in my grandson’s school was designed to look secular without being too religious…but it was obviously very Christian in nature, and was based on one of those crazy types of ministries, and it was almost dishonest in their presentation….I was pretty upset about the way we were informed, the information was buried in a news letter I don’t always get to see…I will have to stay on top of this…I have six and a half years to go to graduation…ho boy…I am in deep shit…

  5. Warman1138 January 21st, 2016 at 18:57

That’s just creepy weird for a public school to promote. Then again, Cruz’s daddy thinks public schools were founded by a communist. Meanwhile Noah’s Ark is getting ready to launch in Kentucky with dinosaurs riding along side a creationist theme.

  6. nola878 January 21st, 2016 at 19:12

Can you imagine the outcry if a Muslim group had e-mailed this type of message?

    • whatthe46 January 21st, 2016 at 19:39

      they would blame Obama.

  7. whatthe46 January 21st, 2016 at 19:38

“As she stood behind him at his feet weeping, she began to wet his feet
with her tears. Then she wiped them with her hair, kissed them and
poured perfume on them,” now, that’s just fricken creepy. and why are they talking to someone elses child about “gagging” when kissing with their tongues any damn way? this is so fricken TARD!

    • Hirightnow January 21st, 2016 at 20:00

      You don’t get it yet?
      They GET OFF onthis nonsense!
They rail and and moan about “babies” learning about something that’s natural to the species, then they try to keep those pweshuss little ones from doing exactly what the universe, or God, or natural selection designed them to do once they’re old enough!
Look, I’m 100% behind keeping those too young to from procreating, but to pretend that it’s wrong? To pretend that somehow the Creator didn’t WANT His creation to breed? All because YOU (them, not actually you) mistakenly hold to a patriarchal belief system that holds the female as lesser, just because “reasons”? Like “God” designed humans the way that they are, just for the sake of making them go against their very nature and fail “His” divine tests?

      Did that sound insane?
Because that’s what most religion sounds like to me…insane.
But at least I’ve never recommended killing anyone because they didn’t think like me.
(Thought about it a few times, tho…)

      • whatthe46 January 21st, 2016 at 20:14

“…own repressed sexuality!” which is why we end up hearing about them caught with another woman, paying for it, or even a closeted gay. you know, just like the digging duggar.

        • Hirightnow January 21st, 2016 at 20:21

I might have phrased that more coherently, but lately the overwhelming stupidity has been pegging my meter…I hope you got the gist of it, that these people go against their very nature because of their being “taught” about right and wrong, in ways that defy biology, science, common sense, etc., and that it causes them to lash out against the weak (young) in aberrant ways.
I truly DO believe it perverts some people, the more of a ‘voice’ that person has in society, the worse the perversion.

          • whatthe46 January 21st, 2016 at 20:26

            oh i understood perfectly fine.

I know some Republicans who are just as disgusted with the current crop of candidates as you and I.
(Did you know thatI originally registered as Republican, back in my halcyon youth? I was in the Navy, and back then, it was the thing to do. I gained {some} sanity later in life, tho.)

                  • Candide Thirtythree January 22nd, 2016 at 16:31

I registered as republican when I was 18, a million years ago, it took me a bit to realize that it was NOTHING like it was in high school history class but I wised and stopped voting for republicans long before I actually got around to switching it on my voter registration card. It didn’t really matter here in Louisiana because they are all crooks and liars.

How can this kind of religious intervention be allowed in a public school?

    • whatthe46 January 21st, 2016 at 19:53

      i would have a shitfit.

    • Mensa Member January 21st, 2016 at 20:52

      >> How can this kind of religious intervention be allowed in a public school?

      Blatantly unconstitutional. But true.

The US government has spend something like a billion dollars on religious-based sex education.

      http://www.advocatesforyouth.org/publications/429?task=view

Most of it under GW Bush.

And to double down on the outrage, abstinence only programs have INCREASED unwanted pregnancies and STDs. With YOUR tax dollars!

      • Gina Bousquet January 21st, 2016 at 21:10

I remember. His sexual education program promoted chastity as the most desirable sex behavior, of course STDs and unwanted pregnancies could only increase. At the time I worked at Planned Parenthood in Brazil designing education projects. The American supervisor was shocked because condom distribution to teens was part of the projects and because we refused to promote chastity. In Brazil that’s laughable we used to say.

I think they snuck in one of those in our school in district 50, right next door…I was too late to pull my grandson, but I am now on the alert…

  10. Tommie January 21st, 2016 at 22:25

Trying to close out kids from the world is what makes them want to see what’s out there even more, i know, when i was locked in the house for religion, it made me and others in the church more interested in what was out there!

    • Candide Thirtythree January 22nd, 2016 at 04:26

As a teacher I can tell you that it was my experience that the worst kids in school were the preacher’s kids for the same reason.

      • Tommie January 22nd, 2016 at 10:13

        Yes, very true!

        • Candide Thirtythree January 22nd, 2016 at 16:20

Hiya Tommie, how’s life treating you these days? Superbly I hope :-)

          • Tommie January 22nd, 2016 at 21:33

I am alive with a job and have two wonderful girls with good jobs, they are making good money and experience what was out there! They were not really interested and decided to work and make money, couldn’t be more proud as a father!

            • Candide Thirtythree January 23rd, 2016 at 07:41

Sounds great! I am very close with my kids too, so proud of them…they turned out nothing like my family or my husband’s family and that is a great thing LOL.
