‘American Pie’ singer Don McLean arrested for domestic violence

The 70-year-old, best known for his chart-topping single “American Pie,” was arrested at his Camden, Maine residence after police responded to a 911 call from the home at 2 a.m., reports TMZ.
McLean was arrested without incident and taken to the Knox County jail, where he was eventually released after posting $10,000 bail.
