Oath Keepers militia warn feds of ‘civil war’ over Oregon terrorists
The Oath Keepers founder had been critical of the Bundy militia, but now warns the feds not to create a “Waco” situation.
Writing on the Oath Keepers’ website, Stewart Rhodes warned ominously that “there will never again be a free Waco,” and that the Obama Administration risks “starting a conflagration so great, it cannot be stopped, leading to a bloody, brutal civil war.”
Rhodes had previously stated that the Oath Keepers — made of members who claim to have served in the military and law enforcement — would stand down and not participate in the occupation of the wildlife refuge.
While the situation in Oregon has remained calm — outside of one member being arrested on Friday for driving a federal vehicle to the grocery store — Rhodes’ saber-rattling was, in typical Oath Keeper fashion, over the top.
Under the heading: “Warning to U.S. Military and Federal LEOs: Do Not Follow Orders to ‘Waco’ Ammon Bundy Occupation, or Risk Civil War,” Rhodes was blunt — although wordy in the process.
“This situation (Oregon occupation) must not be handled in a military or paramilitary fashion, using military assets, military rules of engagement, or otherwise attempting to end it suddenly by use of dynamic assault, resulting in catastrophic loss of life, as has occurred twice in recent American history, with horrific results (at Ruby Ridge in 1992, and at Waco Texas in 1993),” he wrote. ” If you do it ‘Waco’ style here, you risk pushing this nation over the edge into a civil war, because there are ‘no more free Wacos.’”

I thought at first it was some type of comical comment, but then with the hidden profile I could not find out what he/she is really about.
I’m sure if it’s one of the millions of wackos we have in the country, they probably think the Walmart stores that are closing are just the beginning of another JadeHelm exercise of the government taking over! LOL
I wish there was another clue hidden in that rant to tell us if it is real or not, but either way, whoever it is is having the last laugh on us that we paid attention and that he/she was allowed to post it.

“Poe” is a term for someone who presents an argument that they don’t really ascribe to in a way that seems like they believe it, but subtly worded so as to discredit that argument.

No, Oregon won’t result in a civil war no matter what. But we are inexorably drifting toward one between all of us versus the now armed radical right. I see little prospect of it being averted.
If you know your history you know what Presidents (and Generals) Washington and Jackson did when faced with similar armed insurrection. But Pres. Obama is a billion light years from Washington and Jackson in temperament and outlook so little if anything will be done and eventually, whatever happens in Oregon will later be repeated and worse, elsewhere.
Such is our future. I am a senior citizen so maybe I won’t live to see it.
