Idaho Group Arrives In Oregon To Prevent ‘Waco-Style Seige’

Posted by | January 9, 2016 13:16 | Filed under: News Behaving Badly

Brandon Curtiss and his 3% Idaho group are in Oregon to “secure a perimeter” around the seized federal building and prevent a Waco-style situation.

The arrival of the “3% of Idaho” was the latest development in the situation outside Burns, where an armed occupation of the refuge by an Ammon Bundy-led militant group entered its seventh day.

“They just keep an eye on everything that is going on” to make sure “nothing stupid happens,” Bundy said Friday afternoon outside refuge headquarters.

“If they weren’t here,” Bundy said, referring to the Idaho group, “I’d worry” about a Waco-style siege by federal officials.

“They just keep an eye on everything that is going on” to make sure “nothing stupid happens,”
Says Bundy without a clue to the irony in his statement.

Why haven’t they closed off access to this facility…??? Are we trying to round up every wack-job west of the Mississippi and then nuke em…???

    • Gindy51 January 9th, 2016 at 13:30

Fuel air bomb would be a safer option.

      • Guy Lauten January 9th, 2016 at 14:06

two pods Napalm. poof poof. problem solved. mmmm… marshmallows.

      • mea_mark January 9th, 2016 at 14:11

I’ve been thinking the same thing, except at distance that wouldn’t kill them. Close enough though to blow out all the windows and scare the hell out of them though. No windows would mean almost no warmth. I bet they would be wanting to leave in a hurry.

        • JoseM4 January 9th, 2016 at 14:19

I think they already want to leave (cold, bored, hungry, etc.) and would welcome any aggressive Govt response as an excuse to leave.

    • Annie January 9th, 2016 at 13:38

      What a fine idea!

    • whatthe46 January 9th, 2016 at 15:01

i have been saying that. why in the hell is anyone even allowed to leave w/o immediate arrest and why is anyone allowed to enter. this is the stupidest thing ever. wtf?

  3. Jack E Raynbeau January 9th, 2016 at 14:29

They’re drawing quite a crowd. The line for the shitters must be getting long.

    • Larry Schmitt January 9th, 2016 at 18:29

I hope they have enough Charmin. They don’t seem to be the rough outdoors type, too concerned with snacks.

  4. Tommie January 9th, 2016 at 14:57

This Idaho group must be bad a$$ if they can stop the Feds!

  5. Gina Bousquet January 9th, 2016 at 15:16

The Feds should be the ones securing a perimeter! Nothing comes in, no people or supplies. Cut the heat, power, water and end the game, it’s taking too long!

  6. Gina Bousquet January 9th, 2016 at 15:26

Why is this taking so long? With no food, water , power and heat they’d be out in no time at all

    • maggie January 9th, 2016 at 15:54

it’s because the media is watching and americans had enough blood shed from roseburg (a couple hours north) massacre recently….(a couple months ago) and san bernadino….and paris…

      • Gina Bousquet January 10th, 2016 at 11:55

Different circumstances, aren’t they? No need for bloodshed, just thirst, hunger and cold would be enough. This is armed invasion of public property after all.

    • pignose4.0 January 9th, 2016 at 15:57

I think they are waiting to see if they freeze out and they did cut power to all but one building and the reason they left the power on in it is they are afraid the water pipes will freeze and cause damage to the museum building which they are using.

      • maggie January 9th, 2016 at 15:58

hm it’s that cold down there huh?….

      • mea_mark January 9th, 2016 at 16:17

Sounds like someone needs to disable the well somehow. No water, no broken pipes flooding things.

      • Gina Bousquet January 9th, 2016 at 16:33

Thank you for the info. :)

      • F_cons January 9th, 2016 at 18:15

And yet, if their skin was a few shades darker, and they were suspected of having a joint, the building would be knocked down, using tanks, flash grenades and swat teams. There would be no need to worry about broken pipes as the remaining destroyed location would not have any

      • CandideThirtythree January 9th, 2016 at 23:13

Aw, I didn’t know… poor museum…I am sure it never saw a republican before… it must be so scared and alone right now…maybe we should send flowers LOL.

  7. pignose4.0 January 9th, 2016 at 15:50

“They just keep an eye on everything that is going on” to make sure “nothing stupid happens,”Hey bundy when you showed up is when stupid started happening.

  8. maggie January 9th, 2016 at 15:53

I sure the FBI doesn’t GAS (that’s give a shjt) however they are holding the town of burns hostage….I certainly would not put up with that if that were my town…

  9. maggie January 9th, 2016 at 15:55

oregon surely loves their gun nuts…we do…

    • Mensa Member January 9th, 2016 at 18:43

      Don’t blame all Oregonians.

Last year, we passed background checks for private guns sales. I think there are only a few states that have this reasonable and common sense rule.

      • maggie January 9th, 2016 at 19:04

we live in the same state MM

      • maggie January 9th, 2016 at 19:37

roseburg? straw purchases can happen in the millions….no background check neccessary……still

        • Mensa Member January 9th, 2016 at 20:55

Oh, I’m sure they happen in Oregon.

But, in some states “straw purchases” are essentially legal.

That’s what “Fast and Furious” was trying to catch — gun running from Arizona to Mexican drug lords.

  10. maggie January 9th, 2016 at 15:56

Ive been over at the hill insulting trump ;)

  11. Foundryman January 9th, 2016 at 18:06

Huh, obstructing official business is no longer a crime…did not know that.

These should be more guys having their guns confiscated and arrested for terrorist activities, as soon as someone in law enforcement has the balls to do something about this.

    • F_cons January 9th, 2016 at 18:11

Want some action? Post a picture of them with their skin darkened to a dangerous brown, the tanks will roll in

  12. allison1050 January 9th, 2016 at 18:12

Yeah, he’s worry about not being able to drive out into town to a cafe.

  13. allison1050 January 9th, 2016 at 18:16

And these new boyz just wanted a little time out from the Idaho weather.

  14. bpollen January 9th, 2016 at 18:17

When do the yahoos to protect the yahoos who are guarding the other yahoos come?

  15. labman57 January 9th, 2016 at 19:15

Hope they stocked up on their Pop Tarts and Cheetos.

  16. amersham46 January 9th, 2016 at 19:27

to make sure “nothing stupid happens,” The first stupid thing was when they occupied the building , the second stupid thing was when you showing up

    • Mensa Member January 9th, 2016 at 20:56

When all these guys go home or to jail, the average IQ of Oregon will go demonstrably up.

  17. CandideThirtythree January 9th, 2016 at 23:09

It is a good thing there is so much snow on the ground because those drunk yahoos are likely to trip over the BBQ and set fire to the place then claim that the FBI set the fire.

Another collection of nitwits with a latent urge to be martyrs

  19. Stan Ubeki January 10th, 2016 at 10:31

An Idaho sniper guarding the perimeter.

  20. William January 10th, 2016 at 10:47

“to make sure “nothing stupid happens”
