Laura Reid, 49, was visiting the victim in his home, and at one point she asked him if he believed in God, police told the station. The man jokingly replied he didn’t. Reid became so enraged by his answer that she allegedly picked up his metal cane and beat him over the head and body. She then robbed him.

Police told WDRB that the man was unable to leave because of his disability. Reid stayed in his home for three hours after the alleged assault, then left with his cell phone, keys, wallet containing credit cards and $50 cash.

          I only attended Catholic school in fourth grade (other than Catechism) and I never was hit, I was only thrown in a closet and the Mother came in and yelled at me. She was only 4′ and maybe 100 pounds soak and wet.

    I can wrap my head around the theory God’s wrath and he desires that his followers attack the unbelievers. My problem is the robbery, I think that is a no no. Follow the imaginary rules or don’t but she seems to be a bit contradictory in her thought process.

    Obviously religion is not helping this very much self-loathing, miserable maniac. I sure hope this disabled man was not hurt too seriously and that he presses charges against her.

      She was charged with assault, robbery and unlawful imprisonment. It happened in KY, so I’m sure my fanatic Governor Bevin will give her a medal.

        He will probably pay her fines (if she doesn’t go to jail) and make her a county clerk where she can refuse to issue marriage licenses to certain “elements” of society.

          Yeah, it kind of sucks here. Tea Party favorite Tom Massie for Rep and Mitch McConnell & Rand Paul for Senators. Bevin as the 1st R Governor in years just completed the unholy alliance.

    So took from October till now to catch her…Kentucky… concussion, broken arm multiple bruises…had to crawl to a gas station to get help……she has a long list of charges
