Mitt Romney’s son, Josh, is considering a run for governor of Utah. He says:

I am strongly considering. What others do will not affect my decision-making process.”

Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) “said in a recent interview with the Deseret News that he wants to return to Utah and run for governor rather than stay in the House and try again for a leadership position or make a run for the Senate.”

    Sounds like both Romney ad Chaffetz are looking at this race. I dislike Chaffetz’s politics but find him to be- at least superficially- more likable than many of his colleagues. I know nothing about little Josh other than that most of Mitt’s sons seem oddly out of touch with any reality other than the Mormon one.

      He was a real douche bag to Cecile Richards when she went through those hours of verbal abuse that they tried to pretend was a hearing on Planned Parenthood. Of course, she made them look like the buffoons that they are.

    Another entitled rich know nothing who thinks he should represent people with his view of how the world works. Is this how Mitt thinks he will get to sleep in the white house. Hey, Josh how come you and your brothers failed to sign up for the wars in the Middle East too busy riding up and down on the car elevator

    Utah is an odd place. It is a deep deep red Republican state but Salt Lake City is very liberal. They even elected an openly gay mayor.

    Utah voters need to take heed from what happened in Nebraska. We elected little Petey Ricketts, Joe’s son as governor. He still has not found his footing. He had a stellar resume, CEO of this and that company; if anyone bothered to look they could have seen it was all arranged for his edification by his father. He’s behaved like a spoiled brat, argued with legislators, spent public funds on self promoting publicity stunts and I know some GOP activists who already are looking to get rid of him in 2018. Real world experience counts. Not the kind you get from daddy for your 21st birthday.
