Bundy Sons Say They’re ‘Willing To Kill’ At Oregon Standoff
Militiamen who have taken over a wildlife refuge in Burn, OR say they’re “willing to kill.”
The group broke into the federal Malhuer Wildlife Refuge after a protest in Harney County, Oregon, on Saturday, following the conviction of two ranchers for arson…
One militiaman created a “goodbye video” to his family, presumably preparing to fight to the death.

I’m not familiar with the context in which such was said. But when you’ve occupied government property, armed yourself and asserted “willing to kill”, you have ceased to embody any measure of “peaceful demonstration”… Time for the Marshals or FBI to flex some tactical muscle…

I’m all for “militiamen” demonstrating in protest of citizens who have served sentences being ordered to return to prison. But once they threaten harm and violation of the law, while armed/equipped to do just that- It’s time to SWAT some flies…

If the Bundys and their crackpot buddies are allowed to walk away from this escapade the way they did after the standoff in Nevada, the next time you’ll hear about them is when they’re barricaded in an office building in Portland or San Francisco with about a hundred live hostages….

I take your point. They’re definitely a radical fringe group, and a ticking bomb.. But if they think they can out-crazy any group of people in Portland, they’ve overextended themselves… Whatever casual notion passes through someone’s head in that town, they become an instant fanatic… There’s no room for moderation or reason. It’s a city of 2 and a half million fully engorged FREAKS. The Bundy Brigade would have no trouble finding some like-minded conservative extremists. But they’d find the Bundy’s radicalism to be pretty tame, and send them packing. They’d be found later having succumbed to either cardiac arrest at a Voodoo Donuts, or a self-inflicted gunshot to the head… ;)
