No Indictments In police Shooting Of Tamir Rice

A Cayuga County grand jury has decided against bringing charges against two police officers indicted in the fatal shooting of 12-year-old Tamir Rice.

The decision not to indict officers Timothy Loehmann and Frank Garmback brings to an end a months-long criminal investigation into the high-profile shooting.

Monday’s decision comes more than 13 months after the shooting, which catapulted Cleveland into the national debate about police use of force.

Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Timothy J. McGinty, whose oversight of the grand jury process drew criticism, called the shooting “a perfect storm of errors” while announcing the grand jury’s decision at a press conference.

    Of course!
Because big burly cops with guns, flack jackets and back-up reinforcement are so threatened and terrified of 12 year old children….who are black.
    This makes me sick.
Has anyone else noticed that all these police executions are suddenly coming into the news only because everyone has cameras these days?
I guess it will take some time for the judicial system to realize that the jig is up and this bullshit will not be tolerated any more.

And they hate cameras…see how many assaults by cops of people utilizing their constitutional right to video tape them

      You are absolutely right..
This shit has been going on for years/decades/centuries…
And only now has technology caught up..
And other people, not just the police can show what really goes down..
But in this case, there is no prosecution..(blows my mind)

This case has upset me more than any other. I am livid. This prosecutor actually suggested the Rice family find justice in a civil suit! Why should they have to do that? This is so wrong.
