He’ll have no more impact on the paper than Murdoch did on the NY Post or the WSJ.

they call him the repub kind maker…let’s ask mittens if that’s true

      • Larry Schmitt December 16th, 2015 at 18:38

In the last campaign all the republicans lined up to kiss his ass to see how much money they could get from him.

They say Trump met with him before the last debate. Mr ” I’m funding my own campaign.”

Newspapers are still a thing? hmmmm, who knew

    • Larry Schmitt December 16th, 2015 at 18:18

They are for me. I love to have a real paper in the morning. It’s not the same on a tablet. It’s a generational thing. I grew up with it.

      • aNYYANKEEinQueenHaleysCourt December 16th, 2015 at 18:20

Aye Larry, I cannot argue that. I am stuck in the confederacy and refuse to read their papers!

        • Larry Schmitt December 16th, 2015 at 18:26

Yeah, that would drive me crazy. I’m lucky enough to be in Washington, the Post, although not as good as they used to be, is still one of the best papers in the country. When I visit Tucson at Christmas, the paper is tiny.

it’s funny I miss the NY papers as much as the people…you are 100% correct :there is alot to be said for real papers (not tablets)

I still read the Washington Post daily– in my case, online– but I miss the good old days…

            • Boltorama December 16th, 2015 at 19:15

I read the Los Angeles Times online. But doesn’t the Washington Post make you have to subscribe to read it?

              • Gina Bousquet December 16th, 2015 at 19:24

That’s right, you have to subscribe. Ten articles per month are free if you choose not to subscribe.

                • Boltorama December 16th, 2015 at 19:30

Thanks I used to read the Washington Post but they said I only had three free articles left. Appreciate it.

You’re welcome Bolt! You only had three articles left for the month, the following month ten more.

It’s a rw so called newspaper so I’d say it’s a good match up. Hell, the staff weren’t even told who had made the purchase!

Fox fans in Nevada must be elated with joy. Now they can read right-wing propaganda.

    • Richard Banville December 16th, 2015 at 19:40

Most of ’em can barely read.

      • Boltorama December 16th, 2015 at 19:43

In the 1930’s Germany, the NAZI Party took control of ALL of the news medias. The Very Same Thing is happening here in the U.S. but only it is the New NAZI Party AKA Republicans.

  9. Cosmia December 17th, 2015 at 00:07

Most newspapers are not doing that well anymore…so there’s that

  10. rg9rts December 17th, 2015 at 03:33

  11. Gindy51 December 17th, 2015 at 06:42

Glad he wasted his cash so he can’t contribute it to winger candidates and Super PACS. Idiot.

  12. mistlesuede December 17th, 2015 at 12:33

More of the famous “left wing media.”
Oh how I wish there was one.

  13. BillPasadena December 17th, 2015 at 13:53
