Christie Uses San Bernardino Tragedy To Urge Barring Of Female Refugees
Confusing refugees with terrorists, Chris Christie is pandering in an attempt to boost is lackluster presidential campaign.
Christie is pointing to this week’s shooting in San Bernardino, Calif., as evidence that female refugees from Syria should not be allowed in the country.
“We now know from San Bernardino, just a couple of days ago, that women are very capable of being involved in terrorist activity,” the GOP presidential candidate said at a forum in Fort Dodge, Iowa, on Friday, according to ABC News.
One of the alleged assailants in the attack that left 14 dead and 21 injured Wednesday is Tashfeen Malik, 27, a Pakistani woman who immigrated to the U.S. in 2013 on a K-1 fiancée visa.
Authorities said Malik pledged her support to the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) as the attack was happening.
“The widow who comes over here from Syria, if aligned with ISIS or another organization, could create just as much death as any man given the weapons that are available now,” Christie said.

I believe that any RESPONSABLE, adult, sane, person should be allowed to own any kind of firearm EXCEPT, those that are designed and only intended to KILL Humans, AKA Assault Weapons. I own several firearms and have enjoyed hunting. sport shooting, mild competitive shooting, and just plain Plunking, with them for 63 years now, Yup, that means I started owning, and using firearms when I was eight year sold. 1. Not true. 51% are under 17. Females make up 50%. Males between 18-59 make up under 22%
2. Yeah, but can you prove that isn’t just disinformation? It fits their “The West is at War with Islam” narrative if you refuse refugees because they are Muslim solely due the fact that ISIS said something. Or, in other words, you believe ISIS more than any refugee. Which means they sunk your propaganda war battleship.
3. If ISIS wanted to choose the LEAST effective, the MOST likely to fail, the MOST time-intensive, and the MOST inefficient way of infiltrating, they would embed with the refugees. The mastermind of the Paris attacks could have gotten into the US via the Visa Waiver Program and not have to wait 2 years or so to do it.

Well, most of the refugees being referred for entry into the US aren’t male. It’s about 50/50, with women holding a slight advantage.

There is no way to distinguish between those radicals who are a genuine threat and those poor refuges who are not a threat. It doesn’t make sense to ban a particular sex from being able to immigrate to this country as refugees. Women tend to be the more balanced and stable of the sexes and a cursory look back in history will show the invaluable contributions that women have made to this country.
