Shooters Were Sayed Farook And Tashfeen Malik

Posted by | December 3, 2015 06:54 | Filed under: News Behaving Badly

A motive is still not known, but the San Bernardino shooters have been identified as a couple, believed to be married. The husband worked as a health technician inspecting restaurants.

The LA Times and New York Daily News both identified Farook, who also went by his middle name Rizwan, as one of two suspects in the shootings at Inland Regional Center that left as many as 14 dead and scores injured. Other media outlets have reported the suspect’s name as being spelled Sayeed Farouk.

The 28-year-old man, an American citizen, was accompanied by a woman police identified as Tashfeen Malik, 27. Police said the two were either engaged or already married. The couple is believed to be the parents of a six-month old baby who was reportedly staying with grandparents at the time of the attacks.

The Los Angeles Times reported Farook met Malik online. She was living in Saudi Arabia at the time. It’s not clear if Malik was a U.S. citizen or not.

Saudi Arabia, friend, foe, and questionable ally….just think, most if not all of the 9/11 hijackers were of Saudi decent…Wahabi is as Saudi as the desert sands…I seem to think that Saudi Arabia is not the friend we assume….

Even if this turns out to be good old red-white-and-blue workplace violence, and I know this will sound problematic, I think we have to ask it: What if Islam *is* the problem? Not “the problem” in the sense that BreitFox wants it to be the problem, but in terms of its susceptibility (? – vulnerability? – not sure what the right word is) — especially in its Saudi variant — towards radicalization and violence. I’m not saying Christian fundies (or indeed Buddhist fundies if we look at parts of SE Asia) can’t also have a propensity towards violence, but there does seem to be some something about Islam in this era that seems extraordinary in that regard. Whether we’re talking about the radicalization of Chechen and Bosnian Muslims in the 1990s or the growing radicalization of Sub-Saharan African Muslims in the 2000s, something seems to be afoot, especially when you compare them to otherwise radicalized Arab groups of the 1970s like the PLO, who, while terrorists, were terrorists of the more-familiar ETA / IRA nationalist variety and were motivated by secular, not religious, idolatry.

        Nice, well thought out points.

      • Buford2k11 December 3rd, 2015 at 09:13

I think you hit on the real problem…Radicalization….any kind of ideology can be captured, corrupted and radicalized…

      • mea_mark December 3rd, 2015 at 11:16

If you think about it, there really isn’t much difference between nationalism and religion. In one you have a mythical deity that lords over everything and in the other you have a government that lords over everything and both are telling people how they should think and live their lives. It’s mind control, one way or the other. Government and religion should both always be questioned for veracity and motivation. The people need to keep corruption out of both the church and the state.

        • granpa.usthai December 3rd, 2015 at 12:53

it’s impossible to keep all corruption out, but their should at least be an ‘honest’ effort to limit it.

corruption and WMD’s are both difficult to locate at times.

      • granpa.usthai December 3rd, 2015 at 12:50

excellent points – but is restriction of religions the answer?
or ‘national’ religion that is favored by a country?

as a ‘Christian” nation, the USA would rank a flat 0 (zero) as there are very few ‘christians’ that embrace the true ‘christian’ life. (much fewer in the RepubliKon Party).

or are we to be a FAKE christian nation as previous European nations once were during the Inquisition period?

        • ExPFCWintergreen December 3rd, 2015 at 19:02

          I vote for NON-religious nation

      • Boltorama December 3rd, 2015 at 13:04

The political scientist Samuel Huntington wrote an interesting book about the clash of civilizations. He said that Islamic fundamentalism and Confucian ideology will be great challenges to the Western dominated world order. He received a lot of criticism when he wrote it but with the emergence of ISIS and an aggressive China it looks like he was spot on.

now if we could only convince the Republican Leaders to get up off their knees when talking with their King…

      • RayCy December 4th, 2015 at 01:43

Trust me, not a real problem.

    • Boltorama December 3rd, 2015 at 12:59

Most favorite country of the Republicans in the Middle East after Israel of course. They share a lot of similarities with the RWNJS in the US.

    • Gcj8 December 3rd, 2015 at 12:59

But I thought we had a special relationship with them.

Disgruntled employee…did the american thing and wasted those he was mad at …no evil muslim plot here except for the ones in FAUX’s mind

    • Larry Schmitt December 3rd, 2015 at 07:54

While I don’t dispute Fox’s mind is full of plots, we don’t know what the motive was yet. We don’t know yet if it was strictly work-related.

      • mea_mark December 3rd, 2015 at 08:32

        Probably a combination of things.

      • rg9rts December 3rd, 2015 at 08:40

….and he just happened to have assault rifles, body armor, GoPro cameras and IEDs, pipe bombs, etc., waiting?!?

          • mea_mark December 3rd, 2015 at 11:09

Well he was a gun nut ammosexual so … My guess is he was also a republican or at least leaned to the right. It will be interesting to see what we learn about them in the coming days.

            • Gcj8 December 3rd, 2015 at 11:48

His facebook or internet dating site he described himself as very liberal.

              • granpa.usthai December 3rd, 2015 at 12:26

uh, most ‘liberals’ don’t seem to be as well ‘supplied’ -or if they are, at least it’s unknown to the conservatives

                big surprise?

                • Gcj8 December 3rd, 2015 at 12:37

I agree with you. Strange, right.

                  • granpa.usthai December 3rd, 2015 at 12:40

not really – just takes a bit of ‘liberal’ logic.

                    • Gcj8 December 3rd, 2015 at 12:51

Yeah, was just describing what he said, not me. But, yeah, stockpiles and not enough guns are certainly the provence of more right wing think.

                    • RayCy December 4th, 2015 at 01:54

                      Or an ISIS terrorist cell.

                      Yeah, true. No doubt

republiKons have a very long kowtow relationship with the Saudi Kingdom.

guess which airline was flying when American citizens were verboten to fly in US airspace by ’emergency decree’?

          • granpa.usthai December 3rd, 2015 at 11:55

… and of course the pure WHITE Aryan comps only have stolen US Military Weapons, equipment, and explosives, – right?

          • rg9rts December 3rd, 2015 at 12:42

What is YOUR PROBLEM ????? The NRA wants EVERYONE to have ASSAULT WEAPONS

        • Gcj8 December 3rd, 2015 at 11:47

You’re smarter than this, I know that. Why would the BBC have better info than those at the scene. Don’t let your narrative be clouded. Did he not like the eggnog?

          • rg9rts December 3rd, 2015 at 12:36

If you were half as smart as you think you are and went there God forbid the Brits are better at news than we are…YOU would see that their coverage includes a number o sources including local press…local TV…National TV plus their own reporters….Maybe you should watch BBC world news on PBS…What a novel idea not to have slanted news. stop making a public spectacle of yourself

            • Gcj8 December 3rd, 2015 at 12:47

I never said that they weren’t as smart as those on the scene, just think you’re clouding the issue. Hey, you were the one who asked me to come over and play here, just didn’t know I had to be in lockstep with you. I happen to have opinions on both sides. Sorry if you can’t handle it and judging by the pathetic amount of traffic over here I’d say Alan has laid an egg. U just want an echo chamber, not discussion.

              • rg9rts December 3rd, 2015 at 13:31

What a buttlicker…go watch FAUX I have no time for fools like you

                • Gcj8 December 3rd, 2015 at 13:35

You and I have sparred before, and many times in agreement. Public spectacle? Why, I wasn’t even disagreeing with you and you went personal. I never saw this anger from you before and I got my back up. You know me from Mediaite, I don’t rubber stamp and am confused why you’ve jumped at me so hard.

    • Gcj8 December 3rd, 2015 at 11:45

Not sure about that. Apparently their home was stocked with pipe bombs and ieds, so I’m not about to say this was not orchestrated terrorism

      • granpa.usthai December 3rd, 2015 at 12:19

kinda like the stockpile of stolen US Military weapons displayed in Nevada?

would this indicate that ARMED WHITE MALE TERRORIST say, from an Aryan Compound in Idaho who come out to rob banks and such is not orchestrated terrorism?

        • Gcj8 December 3rd, 2015 at 12:25

I guess. I’m talking about yesterday, however,so I’m not sure where you are going.

          • granpa.usthai December 3rd, 2015 at 12:35

well, you indicate that you’re unsure as to whether or not having various items of destructive ARMS might indicate an association with orchestrated terrorism. Does this apply both ways -or- only if the bearers of what the NRA must consider to be their 2nd Amendment rights IF they do not wish to be tagged anti Americans who infringe on the 2nd Amendment rights of others who are not of pure Aryan descent?

            • Gcj8 December 3rd, 2015 at 12:42

Oh, you just want to have a fight. My thinking was about yesterday, not exploring the Aryan brotherhood or any other militias, just staying on topic, that’s all.

              • granpa.usthai December 3rd, 2015 at 13:04

                really?

you want to indicate a possible ‘terrorist’ link due to various death toys being held by a not so WHITE non christian without a comparable thought to the GREATER THREAT to the USA today?

                ARMED WHITE ‘CHRISTIAN’ MALES.

                • Gcj8 December 3rd, 2015 at 13:10

So, even if I agree with you, you still want to argue. Smh. I thought coming here was for discussion, not a rubber stamp. I was wrong. Ok dude, yes whatever you say I believe, I must. Now, let me just goose step for you. Happy?

                • RayCy December 4th, 2015 at 01:58

                  Try rational comments.

            • RayCy December 4th, 2015 at 01:57

10 guys in Idaho are not as terrifying as 10,000 guys backed by oil money and probably in possession of nuclear weapons

      • rg9rts December 3rd, 2015 at 12:37

Following the NRA directive to be prepared for Jade Helm 16

        • Gcj8 December 3rd, 2015 at 12:48

Not gonna stay on topic, are you.

          • rg9rts December 3rd, 2015 at 13:30

Whats your problem ????Didn’t get selected for the junior high debate team??

      • Bunya December 3rd, 2015 at 13:52

Yes, but why would they go after people with disabilities? I would think terrorist groups would want to go after something bigger, like the Golden Gate Bridge or Disneyland, something that would attract attention to their cause. Something tells me this guy had an ax to grind with some people attending that function.

        • Gcj8 December 3rd, 2015 at 13:55

I don’t know. Soft target, maybe. Man, just diabolical.

        • whatthe46 December 3rd, 2015 at 13:59

same thing I said. this was an entirely different animal. they wouldn’t be making any radical statement by doing this.

  3. Foundryman December 3rd, 2015 at 09:27

Right this very minute, Ted Cruz is calling this another islamic terrorist attack and claiming it is related to the Paris attacks. And of course, blaming Obama.

    • StoneyCurtisll December 3rd, 2015 at 09:36

      But of course~!

    • StoneyCurtisll December 3rd, 2015 at 09:41

Was just a couple of mass shootings ago that the right wing was freaking out about the president speaking out/politicizing the carnage….
Now Ted Cruz is using this less than 24 old mass shooting as a political campaign prop…
      How disgusting.

    • Mensa Member December 3rd, 2015 at 09:58

Here is what conservatives don’t understand about us liberals.

We can have more than one thought in our head at a time.

Yes, this could be religiously-motivated terrorism.
Or, it would be workplace violence.
      Or a crime of passion.
      Or mental illness

      Probably come combination.

Because we don’t knee-jerk blame all Muslims — they think we approve of terrorism.

      • whatthe46 December 3rd, 2015 at 10:02

because they are weak minded and ignorant and hateful and spiteful individuals.

        • Pat December 3rd, 2015 at 15:45

That was a sweeping generalization fallacy.

          How “liberal” of you.

          • whatthe46 December 3rd, 2015 at 19:05

            it was on point.

            • RayCy December 4th, 2015 at 01:44

              And supported by some evidence.

      • Mark Johnson December 3rd, 2015 at 16:33

“more than one thought in our head at a time” Proving again the long held theory that you are NOT a liberal. True liberals do not resort to childish name calling but rather engage conservatives in well thought-out rational discussions.

        • Richard Banville December 3rd, 2015 at 16:35

What childish name-calling are you referring to? I’m not seeing it.

          • Mark Johnson December 3rd, 2015 at 16:46

By saying that we liberals can have more then one thought in our head at a time, Mensa is belittling conservatives and implying that they are brainless idiots. If we want true logical liberalism to flourish in America, we must move beyond such infantile tactics. Look at Fox News. Sure, they are renowned for their infantile tactics, but they also go beyond such measures. They preach faithfully conservative principles, as flawed as they may be. We on the left must match their rhetoric with a better more thought-out message.

There’s also the fact that Mensa is an incredibly well of faux arguments and juvenile antics. If this wasn’t so incredibly important, he/she would provide hours of sophomoric entertainment.

    • whatthe46 December 3rd, 2015 at 10:01

that’s very irresponsible. they are not blaming all “christians” for what happened at PP, even though the fake ass “christians” were cheering for the death of American citizens. but, now all muslims are responsible for this incident? it’s disgusting.

      • RayCy December 4th, 2015 at 01:46

Where “Christian” is defined as non-Muslim?

    • granpa.usthai December 3rd, 2015 at 12:15

Rafael, a Kuban born in Kanada, doesn’t understand how the US Constitution works.

every 4 years a Democrat POTUS is elected by the people, while occasionally a RepubliKon is selected by the Supreme Court. Due to the number of Americans who treasure personal Freedom and Liberty with very limited restrictions for safety over blind obedience to a religious drunkard, republiKons felt the need to restrict our Freedom of choice by adding the 22nd Amendment to the US Constitution.
What Rafael doesn’t seem to understood is even though his political party is still hellbent and determined to make POTUS Obama a failed 1 term POTUS (much like what happened to POTUS Carter) – the limitations of service will be expiring in 2016.

in other words, the dumbass is completely unequipped to step into the ring with HRC.

    • Pat December 3rd, 2015 at 15:45

Muslims are the ones who shot up San Bernardino.

      It’s no secret.

      • Carla Akins December 3rd, 2015 at 16:10

A Christian shot up Planned Parenthood, and a Christian blew up the federal building in Oklahoma City – so your point?

        • Pat December 3rd, 2015 at 16:13

          McVeigh was an atheists.

He said so in his manifesto.

The alleged shooter at Planned Barrenhood never mentioned anything about a religious motivation for the shooting.

          • Carla Akins December 3rd, 2015 at 16:25

You need to read up, big ass jesus freak.

            • Pat December 3rd, 2015 at 16:53

“I sort of lost touch with the religion. I never really picked it up.”

              –McVeigh.

              You still lying?

              • Carla Akins December 3rd, 2015 at 18:09

I provided supportive documentation, you understand how that trumps just words you’ve typed, right?

              • bpollen December 4th, 2015 at 05:16

McVeigh: I do believe in a God, yes.

                Pat:McVeigh was an atheists

According to McVeigh, you are lying about McVeigh. And guilty of an extraneous use of an “s” in the first degree.

          • Carla Akins December 3rd, 2015 at 16:31

From an interview with Time (not Breitbart) in 2001

In addition to denying Christian extremism, Farah and his blogging buddies are distorting the record regarding the beliefs of Timothy McVeigh. They contend that McVeigh distanced himself from Christianity in an interview he gave to Time magazine in 2001

Did he? Here’s what he said

            Time: Are you religious?

McVeigh: I was raised Catholic. I was confirmed Catholic (received the sacrament of confirmation). Through my military years, I sort of lost touch with the religion. I never really picked it up, however I do maintain core beliefs.

Time: Do you believe in God?

McVeigh: I do believe in a God, yes. But that’s as far as I want to discuss. If I get too detailed on some things that are personal like that, it gives people an easier way [to] alienate themselves from me and that’s all they are looking for now.

            • Pat December 3rd, 2015 at 16:46

“I sort of lost touch with the religion. I never really picked it up.”

Your claims of a Christian motive for killing is below tenuous.

Spurious, perhaps, but nothing more than your weak fallacy of attempting to poison the well.

              • Carla Akins December 3rd, 2015 at 18:14

So, you’re admitting I was right.

                • RayCy December 4th, 2015 at 01:48

Carla, I’ve engaged you in several discussions. I don’t recall that you were ever right.

he was motivated by religion and the bold ass lies told by crazy ass racist and bigots on fox and the likes of carly fk face and the rest of the GOP phony “christians”

        • Doug Bristow December 4th, 2015 at 02:49

Wrong on both counts. Try again.

          • whatthe46 December 4th, 2015 at 02:59

right on both counts. white boys – columbine; white boys – 9 church members dead; white boy – sandy hook (more died and the majority were children) aurora – white boy; all have a commonality, “christians” republiklans. huckafuk son, tortured and murdered a dog, “repukin christian.”

          • Carla Akins December 4th, 2015 at 09:35

I’m sorry, your statement that I’m wrong is not supportive documentation to prove your point. You’ll have to try harder.

            • Doug Bristow December 4th, 2015 at 10:17

They may or may not have been CINO’s but they are not and were not Christians.

        • Patrick Williams December 5th, 2015 at 19:52

I would ask; Are you serious? However, I won’t because I know that you painfully are. I’ve said some really stupid things out of my mouth at times too, but WOW! Also, you have absolutely no clue what it means to be a Christian, do you? It takes a lot more than saying you’re one. I bet you believed that the Klan were Christians too, cause that’s what they said. You haven’t really read your (any) bible have you?

          • whatthe46 December 5th, 2015 at 19:59

LMFAO! well, they claim to be just like the kkklowns and the GOPissers! and you sound like you’re rocking in that same boat. davis the adulterer and 3 time divorcee who had children out of wedlock, who had the audacity to belittle same sex marriage, considers herself a christian and she was praised by you people and huckafuk! furthermore, who gives a damn what religion you consider yourself a part of, you don’t need it to be a moral person. bet you watch a lot of pat “the crazy” robertson.

            • Patrick Williams December 5th, 2015 at 20:50

Actually, I don’t watch a much TV at all. Don’t have time. Here you go with the “tough Tony” attitude again. Growing up, I used to break clowns like you down every day, just to see you cry & bite your tongue. My being a Christian isn’t just a blessing for me, its also a blessing for all those little mini- yous that I used to terrorize!

Say what you will, but we both know that you’d wouldn’t say it in my face. Plus, what you say doesn’t matter, no one even knows your name. I was probably one of the worst criminals ever and now people pay to hear me speak and I’ve been to several states speaking, while all you do is post on a blog site calling people names. LOL. Don’t hate kid. My God- Jesus can flip the script on your miserable life too. My God Is Awesome!!!!!!

                    • Patrick Williams December 5th, 2015 at 21:44

You can’t get the platform that the Lord has given me, by pretending. I’m still a criminal? I know two Governors that would disagree with you, not to mention a host of others. You’re jealous, because as of yet your life still hasn’t amounted to any thing! Sounds like I have another “HATER” Praise the Lord!!! Wow you’re so intelligent. I bet no one’s taking advantage of you. LOL…

                    • whatthe46 December 5th, 2015 at 22:02

yes you are still a criminal. oooooh you know 2 governors, and they are phony “christians” like yourself and criminals as well. how much do you charge those dummies to listen to your b.s.? i don’t hate you. nor do i pity you. you are willfully ignorant and that’s a personal problem. but, seriously, you are going to hell. by the way, enlighten us all as to where you preach, do you have a website, do you have a FB page?

                    • Patrick Williams December 5th, 2015 at 22:10

I’m too grown to have a facebook page. Wow, Im going to hell? I don’t think so. Here’s why(Rom. 10:9-10). Sorry to disappoint you, well really I’m not. You don’t need to know where I preach. I wouldn’t want you to show up on bull and get yourself hurt…

                    • whatthe46 December 5th, 2015 at 22:55

so you’re a violent preacher? furthermore, you said you don’t have to hide who you are right? i want to see for myself all the good work you do. you are soooooo going to hell for lying.

                    • Patrick Williams December 5th, 2015 at 23:38

I didn’t say that I would do anything. However, I do have security who might. Also, biblically & legally, I am allowed to defend myself and family. You don’t need to see everything I do for the Lord. Those who need to find me, can, those who don’t, can’t. Come on now. Even though you’re no threat at all, I didn’t live through being a gang chief in one of the most violent street gangs in Chicago by being a simpleton! You gotta do better than that! God gives His children wisdom also!! (James 1:5; Prov.4:7) I’ll give you this; Go on you tube and type in Ledell Cleveland, then click on “I Must Have Been Out Of My Mind”. And if you want to here my testimony about when I had to feed breakfast to John Wayne Gacy, click on “How Can I Keep Quiet”. Enjoy clown!!! LOL

                    • Patrick Williams December 6th, 2015 at 10:18

Really?Jesus thought I was important enough to die for. So, excuse me if I don’t value the opinions of someone who doesn’t even know their own worth yet, someone who is so blinded & deceived, that she thinks she’s somebody outside of Jesus The Christ!!! Good luck with that , by the way. Every thing that I am or ever hope to be is because of Jesus…

                    • Patrick Williams December 5th, 2015 at 22:22

Its not so much the Governors I know, but the God that I know & serve. Don’t be mad because no one wants to hear what you have to say. Did you ever stop to think, that maybe that’s because you aint talking bout nothing worth listening to?

Just because they claim to be Christians, don’t make them Christians. You talk all tough, but you aint! Truth be told, you aint tough at all and wouldn’t even act like that in the presence of most of the people on this site that you talk crazy to

              • whatthe46 December 5th, 2015 at 21:00

                • Patrick Williams December 5th, 2015 at 21:04

I’ve never been phony in my life. I wasn’t phony when I ran one of Chicago’s most violent street gangs! I wasn’t phony when I stood before the judge, nor when I went to prison. So why would I be phony now! You’re really funny. Maybe you should consider comedy as a career. LOl.

          • Carla Akins December 6th, 2015 at 07:10

Would you feel better if I said “self-proclaimed Christian”, I have no power over how a person identifies themselves, and when they commit crimes based on their self-proclaimed religion – it is what it is.

      • Foundryman December 3rd, 2015 at 20:34

Sure, but so far there is no evidence to suggest they did it because of radical religious beliefs. They targeted people he worked with, it’s more than possible it was work related violence.

        • RayCy December 4th, 2015 at 01:50

So he put on body armor, picked up a thousand rounds of ammo and multiple pipe bombs cause he hated his boss?

          • Foundryman December 4th, 2015 at 09:38

Why not? That’s not hard to believe at all. There have been many more work related mass shootings than religious fanatic shootings. This one stands out because of the number of victims and the firepower used. I bet if they had a Henry lever action, there wouldn’t have been nearly as many people killed. But it’s early, it’s hard I know, especially with Limbaugh passing judgment, but we should wait for the evidence then decide which group gets scapegoated.

            • RayCy December 4th, 2015 at 13:55

But it was violence that he planned, not just a reaction in a moment of anger.

  4. Mensa Member December 3rd, 2015 at 09:52

My favorite conservative web site (Charisma) banned me for saying that their “baby killers!!!” rhetoric incites the crazies. (Oh, and for quoting Matthew 25 too much.)

So, I’m missing what they are saying about Muslims right now.

But you can bet that the right wing blames Islam.

    And Obama.

    • whatthe46 December 3rd, 2015 at 10:09

when the reports first came out that the shooters were white, the media was blaming Obama. now that they are muslims and it wasn’t your “typical” “terrorist” attack, they are happy and will insist this is his fault. it doesn’t matter that the shooting had nothing to do with their religious beliefs.

      • Suzanne McFly December 3rd, 2015 at 10:33

Right, the news is pissing me off. They keep referring to this as a terrorist activity, which I agree it is, but so are all the other mass shootings. Just because the names aren’t John and Sally, all the sudden it is terrorism.

    • Red Mann December 3rd, 2015 at 10:14

Matthew 25 is like garlic and sunlight to the fundigelical vampires. It is one of my favorite passages, that and Acts 4 and 5 that talk about good old communism.

      • Carla Akins December 3rd, 2015 at 12:54

or it can simply be a very old book, written by a bunch unenlightened men in an attempt to control the masses. Maybe we can simply use our moral compass and standard ethics to conduct ourselves.

        • granpa.usthai December 3rd, 2015 at 13:13

          that’s too much personal freedom.
while many would enjoy such, there are those who currently sit in seats of government power that are terrified of accepting personal responsibility for their actions/no actions.
much easier to just write it off as ‘god’s will’

…as long as the paychecks keep coming in.

        • Red Mann December 3rd, 2015 at 16:39

Actually, I’m a recovered Christian, now atheist. I like using the Bible to attack the extremist Christians and the RW self proclaimed righteous. I keep a file of verses that are useful against these self-satisfied snots.
In truth the Bible is an absolute disaster as a moral guide and many of its followers have no moral compass of their own, relying instead on what their preachers tell them that their god wants.

    • thule December 3rd, 2015 at 15:07

“Baby killers” cites crazies. Okay fine, crazy people are crazy. But you don’t believe that some things written in the Quran doesn’t influence or incite violence? I AM NOT saying that all Muslims are violent. I am NOT even saying that “most” Muslims are violent. I am not willing to group all Muslims together. I just find it interesting that you’re willing to place responsibility to a group of people that use inflammatory language for “crazies”, but you’re give huge deference to people of another religion because you don’t want to be called a bigot.

When you say “blames Islam” that is a little bit simplistic. Maybe you don’t understand what is actually written in the Quran. I suspect your thinking might be a bit binary. You think that since there are peaceful Muslims that there isn’t anything in the Quran itself that groups like ISIS can build on. It is a bit more complex than that. It might be good to dig into some debates on Islam to get a better understanding on how it is possible for some to become “radicalized”. You don’t have to agree with it, but it is good to understand the doctrine which it is based on.

      • Richard Banville December 3rd, 2015 at 16:27

There’s a lot of bloody stuff in the Bible that instigates crazies to attack and oppress others as well.
The Qur’an is not nearly as violent as the Bible. Don’t blame the book, blame those who distort its message for their own sick purposes.

        • thule December 3rd, 2015 at 17:20

Ummmm. Yes, there is a bloody narrative in the Bible, but there is a widely known distinction in the Bible between the children of Israel and the modern church. Because this distinction is widely know it is much harder for a Christian to go beyond giving to Caesar what is Caesar’s and and satisfied with honoring the government that is in place. In face, there was a fight over this in the Reformation which, eventually, gave rise to our American understanding of the limits of government.

Please have *some* understanding of Christian doctrine. It is also helpful if you know a little Islam and how ISIS interprets the Quran. Just saying there is bloody narrative is dumb. You must ask first is this “descriptive” or “prescriptive”?

    • Pat December 3rd, 2015 at 15:44

Do you understand that the abortion industry profits from killing small humans?

      Do you understand that?

      Killing for hire.

Think about that for a while.

      • Carla Akins December 3rd, 2015 at 16:09

You understand it’s none of your fucking business what a women decides. If it’s not your abortion, then none of your business.

        • Pat December 3rd, 2015 at 16:14

Are you this lenient with child abusers?

“It’s not your kid” so back off?

          • Carla Akins December 3rd, 2015 at 16:24

It’s not your uterus and forcing someone to give birth against their will is akin to kidnapping. You’re not my doctor and have no knowledge of the circumstances regarding this decision.

            • Pat December 3rd, 2015 at 16:56

You equate kidnapping with a CONSENSUAL act of engaging REPRODUCTIVE organs?

Your fallacy is both a straw man AND hyperbole built upon the back of a false equivalence.

              Congratulation?

              • Carla Akins December 3rd, 2015 at 18:08

I’ll type it slowly so you understand – forcing someone to carry and give birth is similar to kidnapping, not the sex part. Would you like for me to explain how grown ups have an enjoy sex as part of normal life, and that it’s not just for procreation?

                • Doug Bristow December 3rd, 2015 at 21:35

If you do not want a baby then do not get pregnant.

                  • Wendy Sibley December 4th, 2015 at 00:50

Since you’re incapable of becoming pregnant, you have no say about it. Easy for you to knock up your sister and your mother (nobody else will have you), and then blame them for getting pregnant.

                    • Doug Bristow December 4th, 2015 at 00:54

You obviously need to grow up little girl. When you become a mature woman and learn to talk correctly maybe then adults will take you seriously.

                    • Wendy Sibley December 4th, 2015 at 01:00

Says the guy who has no respect for women, calls them murderers, wants them to be enslaved to their biology and subservient to male patriarchy. Crawl back under your prehistoric rock.

                    • Doug Bristow December 4th, 2015 at 01:04

LOL…..you are a trip! This would not be one of those war on women things would it?

                    • Wendy Sibley December 4th, 2015 at 01:08

                      Women are winning the war.

                    • Doug Bristow December 4th, 2015 at 01:10

The only war on women that is going on in this country is the 30 million baby females that have been murdered due to abortion since 1973.

                    • bpollen December 4th, 2015 at 05:11

                      Have you grown a uterus?

If not, then you really don’t have status to determine what others do with theirs.

                    • Doug Bristow December 4th, 2015 at 10:14

Are you planning to have or do you have children without a sperm donor? If not then whatever man is involved has a say.

                    • whatthe46 December 4th, 2015 at 11:12

when repukes open their mouths, out comes hypocrisy. Rep. Scott DesJarlais (R-TN) had his wife and mistress abort. all while shouting that same b.s. you shout. anti-abortion until it hit home.

                    • Doug Bristow December 4th, 2015 at 15:58

Wow…there are hypocrites in the world?!?!? A Republic one at that?!?!?

ALL HAVE SINNED and fall short of the glory of God.

This does not change the FACT that abortion is murder.

                    • whatthe46 December 4th, 2015 at 18:58

then i guess your god is a murderer to since it’s condoned in the bible to kill.

                      Exodus 21:15
“Whoever strikes his father or his mother shall be put to death.”

                      1 Samuel 15:2-3
“Thus says the Lord of hosts, ‘I have noted
what Amalek did to Israel in opposing them on the way when they came up out of Egypt. Now go and strike Amalek and devote to destruction all
that they have. Do not spare them, but kill both man and woman, child
and infant, ox and sheep, camel and donkey.’”

                      Psalm 137:9
“Blessed shall he be who takes your little ones and dashes them against the rock!”

The people of Samaria must bear their guilt, because they have rebelled against their God. They will fall by the sword; their little ones will be dashed to the ground, their pregnant women ripped open. (Hosea 13:16)

The “always pro-life” position does not come from the Bible, but from conscience. If a person reallyget their morals from the Bible, be afraid — you never know what God might tell them to do next, because God commanded just about every evil imaginable in the Bible. ~Daniel Florien

                    • Doug Bristow December 4th, 2015 at 21:15

These verses having nothing to do with abortion. These are God’s judgements against people for their sins just as one day He will judge our sins. The difference is this was Old Covenant of Law and because of Christ Jesus we are now in the New Covenant of His grace and mercy to give us time to turn away from our sins, accept what Christ did on the cross for the forgiveness we all need to avoid the judgement and wrath of God.

                    • whatthe46 December 4th, 2015 at 21:36

you idiots talk about abortion being murder, and that it’s against god, yet i show you and it’s only a few verses, where it was encouraged by god to murder children and pregnant women. and you can hold whatever belief you want i don’t give a damn, but you don’t have the right to use your religion to dictate how someone else should live theirs. stay the fk out of it. it’s none of your damn business.

                    • Doug Bristow December 4th, 2015 at 21:39

Sorry little missy but I am making it my business and will continue to do so as long as I care to.

                    • whatthe46 December 5th, 2015 at 15:56

since abortion isn’t murder, i suggest you learn the meaning of the word. you’re willfully ignorant and that’s a personal problem. aside from the fact that the bible preaches violence and murder of women, men and children and the unborn, it has no baring on the laws of the land. there are more people in this world that have high moral standards, than the sheep that profess to follow the bible. if you need the bible to teach you morals, then you are one lost fool.

The bible doesn’t teach any such thing. I’ve studied the bible for quite some time. I now teach it, so you barking up the wrong tree with that non-sense. As for learning the definition of the word murder, I am “intimately aquainted” with it – INTIMATELY. I bet you can’t say the same & prove it… You’re a joke little girl…

                    • whatthe46 December 5th, 2015 at 16:20

                      LOLOLOL yes it does.

                    • Patrick Williams December 5th, 2015 at 19:44

Show me where, without taking the scripture out of context. The fact that you even make that claim, lets any “real” bible reader know that you are what the bible refers to as ignorant & unlearned. ( Acts 4:13) The literal Greek uses a word that means “unlettered”. Say like for instance, I have a M.A in theology & Ministry. You on the other hand have nothing but your emotions. Can you hear me now?! LOL. This aint your field little one. Again, you’re a joke. You don’t even have the guts to use your real name. :) Get Real!!!!

                    • whatthe46 December 5th, 2015 at 20:14

the bible is full of murder!!!! get over it. you are a sick twisted little person who can’t think for yourself. and like i want your sick sorry creepy ass stalking me.

                    • Patrick Williams December 5th, 2015 at 16:19

Its you that need to learn the meaning of the word. I, myself am “intimately aquainted” with the term. I have the background to prove it. All you know about it is what you read or seen on TV or the movies. You are way out of your league on this one, especially where I’m concerned. Maybe you should do your homework. The bible preaches forgiveness of sins or receiving the ultimate punishment for them. Its your choice, just in case you don’t know…

                    • Patrick Williams December 5th, 2015 at 15:45

You obviously don’t have a clue as to the definition of “murder”. Learn it, then go back and ask yourself the question of ; “Is God A Murderer? Also, stop making a fool out of yourself by using scripture out of context to try to make your point!!!!

                    • whatthe46 December 5th, 2015 at 15:50

your god is. stop whining like a bitch and take the truth like a man. i know it may be difficult, but give it a go.

                    • Patrick Williams December 5th, 2015 at 15:53

Oh, another wanna be tough little kid on a blog site. My guess is you’ve never been so wild, until they created blogs. Now you can be as fake as you want to be. You’re funny, your kind always are, to me..

                    • whatthe46 December 5th, 2015 at 16:04

you want to preach about your violent bible and your bigoted bible, then go to some bible thumping site with the rest of the hypocrites.

                    • Patrick Williams December 5th, 2015 at 16:07

Make me. Oh, you can’t. No surprise there… I like this site. I think I’ll stay for a while… It seems to me that you lack the discipline to stop responding to stuff you don’t like. LOL…

                    • whatthe46 December 5th, 2015 at 16:19

you can stay if you like. i’ll just point out your bullshit when i feel it’s necessary to do so.

                    • Patrick Williams December 5th, 2015 at 16:24

I didn’t need your permission, but thanks anyway. As for you pointing out my bs; if only you could do it with something tangible, like proof. Since you can’t, I guess you’ll just be giving us more of your emotional opinions…

                    • bpollen December 5th, 2015 at 03:43

Ridiculous argument. Men are MORE than happy to donate their sperm – to tissues, cups, belt-sanders, umbrella holes in patio tables, sheep, goats, camels, horses, cows, grass, magazines…. And DONORS give it away freely. So unless you had a contract stating that, in the event of pregnancy, you rather than your sperm have a claim, I don’t understand why HER rights become dependent on YOUR opinion. If there isn’t insemination, do you STILL get a say in what a woman does with her body?

But the reverse is also true. There are two main ways for a woman to conceive – in vitro fertilization or the old fashioned way (and that includes forcible rape.) With in vitro, five minutes of “makin’ the scene with a magazine” and the guy is done. $400 bucks for jerkin’ yer gherkin. Does this still mean that those five minutes and pay entitle him to a legal claim against the body of a woman he never met?

And in the old fashioned method, those same five minutes of fun for you may or may not result in a pregnancy. If your participation itself wasn’t recompense for those five minutes, what physical and medical demands does SHE get over YOUR body? What’s the quid pro quo? You contribute a spasm, she contributes the risk to her health, the next nine months of her life, and the next 18 years after birth. I fail to see what YOU are giving up that you wouldn’t have given up even if she weren’t to become pregnant. But if she does, that sperm becomes more important than her control over her own person. Hardly qualifies as equal protection, does it?

So, we’ve covered the ways that you appear to be saying buys you a piece of a woman’s body. Let’s try it the other way. Try to have a baby without an ovum. Go on, I dare you! But, unlike with a sperm donation, the female’s role would not stop at the donation of said ovum. All you could make without her further involvement would be a zygote. That zygote, if not implanted in a womb, could NOT grow into a human. So, once again, the only way you can have a baby is with an ovum AND a womb. The woman again takes all the risk, all the physical demands, all the work, and sperm buys you control over her body?

Seems that you think sperm is magical. You spread it around like Johnny Appleseed and then think you get to decide whether or not the farmer has to let the tree grow. I think that if you make a donation and you want to control the disposition of that donation, you had best put that in writing before MAKING that donation.

And yet the FACT remains that abortion is murder.

                    • bpollen December 5th, 2015 at 16:37

No, actually, that’s your opinion. If it were a FACT, you could point out the penal code that proscribes it. All you have to do to prove yourself right is show us the law. C’mon, Mr. Facts. Where’s the law that supersedes the Supreme Court?

Seems like your FACT is a figment of your imagination. Way to refute me!
“I know, I’ll just make something up. Who needs actual facts!”

                    • Doug Bristow December 5th, 2015 at 20:39

Not all that is legal is right and/or moral.

Abortion is the premeditated murder of the baby in your womb.

                    • bpollen December 5th, 2015 at 21:09

You said it was murder. That is untrue. Morality doesn’t alter facts.

So, your claim of “FACT” was anything but. You can’t prove it, you know it’s not a law, your sole source provided is your morality. You are entitled to your subjective reality, but the objective reality is that you are wrong.

You can think stupid is a crime, but that really doesn’t make it so.

                    • Doug Bristow December 5th, 2015 at 22:43

You do not know me. You have no idea how I feel about those other issues.

When a baby is murdered it is my business because I say it is my business.

Whine and cry all you want but the fact remains that abortion is murder.

70% of those who self identifies as “christians” have had abortions. so, is it only murder when someone else does it? hypocrite.

                    • Doug Bristow December 5th, 2015 at 22:38

Did I say it’s only murder when someone else does it? If indeed I did say that please tell me when and where.

Abortion is murder no matter who does it.

                    • whatthe46 December 6th, 2015 at 00:02

those very “christians” said so until they became pregnant. so did a repuking law maker until his wife and mistress became pregnant, whereby, he made them both abort. if abortion is murder, then so is your god a murderer.

                    • Doug Bristow December 6th, 2015 at 00:24

Who are ‘those”, “they” and who is that “repuking law maker”?

you phony christians have anger issues. you’re angry with black people, white people, gay people, lesbian people, brown people, people of different faiths, people who don’t subscribe to any religion, poor people, women, children, etc., etc. unfortunately there’s no medication for what ails you. only your last breath.

If they didn’t want to have a baby, then they shouldn’t be having unprotected sex, out of wedlock! See how simple that is?!

              • Carla Akins December 5th, 2015 at 15:50

Most abortions occur during committed relationships (marriage) where they already have one child. Contraception fails, to assume people will never have sex is ridiculous on its face, See how simple that is.

                • Patrick Williams December 5th, 2015 at 15:58

Most abortions don’t occur during committed marital relationshhips.( http://www.abort73.com › Facts About Abortion)Come on now, at least make this interesting.

how many, mr. phony “christian” church preacher man, children have you fostered? please say none! because it would not only be accurate that people like you don’t give a damn once a child is born, but it would be great knowing that you don’t get to fk up an innocent child’s head with your b.s.

                  • Carla Akins December 6th, 2015 at 07:15

Yes they do. You offer a source that’s an anti-abortion website? Please. Regardless, it’s legal, not your decision, and forced birth violates bodily autonomy. Just as soon as women are allowed to make decisions regarding only men’s bodies, we’ll talk.

              • Carla Akins December 6th, 2015 at 08:18

You must be kidding. How many marriages and relationships simply don’t have sex? It’s not healthy for the relationship and once again, none of your business. You’re idea that only sluts have unprotected sex and get pregnant went out with the horse and buggy. BTW, wedlock has absolutely nothing to do with being a responsible person or parent.

        • Doug Bristow December 3rd, 2015 at 21:34

              • Carla Akins December 5th, 2015 at 15:51

                • Patrick Williams December 5th, 2015 at 16:00

I won’t even try to explain this to you, because if you haven’t understood it in all this time that the debate has been going on, you never will. Real Talk..

                  • Carla Akins December 6th, 2015 at 07:12

As a woman that has given birth 3 times, had a couple of miscarriages and one abortion, I am certain that I understand more than you.

              • Carla Akins December 6th, 2015 at 07:19

                Not murder

                • Patrick Williams December 6th, 2015 at 20:04

Murder all day, everyday. You do know what murder is, don’t you? You must have had an abortion before?

                  • Carla Akins December 7th, 2015 at 04:38

I do but evidently you do not. Something has to be living before it can be murdered.

                    • Patrick Williams December 7th, 2015 at 06:45

I know what murder is a lot better than you ever will. I for one am “intimately aquainted” with the term. You can’t say that. All you’re talking about is what you “feel”, cause you’re pro-abortion, but you don’t have a clue as far as experiential knowledge goes. The baby is a living human being at the moment of conception. I noticed you dodged the question of having had an abortion, thus I take that to be a yes. Its ok, I somewhat understand. Jesus forgives all. You just gotta ask…

                    • Carla Akins December 7th, 2015 at 08:02

I am pretty sure I did not dodge the question. I have three adult children, six grandchildren, 2 miscarriages and one abortion. A cluster of cells that may become a life is not more important or take precedence over a fully grown, living breathing woman. The only thing I have said about my “feelings’ is that I feel you are a self-righteous judgmental ass that thinks forced birth or making those sluts keep their legs closed are the only options. Life does not begin at conception – matter of fact no one can tell you the moment of conception because it varies from hours to a week. (middle school biology) and if you want to use the biblical version it is not a life until it’s first breath. I am sure you “feel” I am a horrible person, and I could give a fuck less what you think.

Until you live in someone else’s shoes, or be forced to carry and birth a child against your will you have no right to judge.

        • RayCy December 4th, 2015 at 01:20

      LOL

    • Mark Johnson December 3rd, 2015 at 20:14

Mensa, you lie. You know why you got banned. At least own up to it.

    • RayCy December 4th, 2015 at 01:35

He or she is a baby and abortion kills him or her. So that would be murder except that those who wish to destroy America have coerced SCOTUS to declare that it is not. But to conclude that a baby is tissue in utereo and a few minutes later as the baby exits birth canal, some magic biological transformation has taken place and the baby is now a real person transcends any biological text I’ve ever seen. All biological testing done at those two instances would yield no differences, so the baby is a baby at either condition. Therefore killing the baby is the same, so if it’s murder outside the body, it’s murder inside. Except SCOTUS defines truth differently from reality.

This too shall pass. People like you, with no knowledge of history, are condemned to repeat it.

              • Pat December 3rd, 2015 at 16:16

I see you used PAST TENSE there.

I use present tense to describe the muslims who are killing innocent people in Paris and San Bernardino.

                • Richard Banville December 3rd, 2015 at 16:21

Yes, we have to deal with the jihadist menace. We also have to deal with the right-wing extremists who attack Planned Parenthood centres and historic Black churches.
But we have to deal with these threats intelligently, instead of freaking out over ethnicity or religious affiliation willy-nilly.
Demonizing Muslims will definitely hurt the effort we need to enlist people in those communities who want to help.

                  • Pat December 3rd, 2015 at 16:25

                    Senate just defunded Planned Infaniticide.

                    That solves that problem.

Understand the past or be doomed to relive it in the future. How did the IRA stop their terrorist ways? Negotiation. Something the British government once swore never to do with terrorists.

This is more evidence to substantiate the prosecution against the radical muslims who are killing innocent people in Paris and San Bernardino.

        I agreed with the poster.

        That’s not instigation, that’s agreement.

And you realize that language tells everyone you are crude, vulgar and ignorant? And that you have nothing to contribute?

Are you the woman who claimed to have black relatives a few months ago?

    • bpollen December 4th, 2015 at 05:07

Actually, use of curse words does NOT show “crude, vulgar, or ignorant” by any stretch of the imagination. Nor that the user of such words have nothing to contribute. According to a study, politicians who swear are MORE likely to win elections. Swearing characters are more popular in YA fiction. If you had been in the military, you’d know that their second language is profanity. Presidents, Senators, Mayors, Generals, Admirals, Magistrates (even back in the 14th Century), Writers, Musicians, Inventors, Academics, and a vast number of humans swear. Your “nothing to contribute” claim is demonstrably false.

      • RayCy December 4th, 2015 at 15:14

Well, that’s your opinion. Note that while you approve of the use of profanity, you chose not to use it. Significant, don’t you think? Can you imagine a lawyer using Carla’s “F you,” repeatedly in a summation to the jury? Or before the Supreme Court? When the officer pulls you over and asks for your license, hand it to him and say “F you.” (Which is your first amendment right.)

As for the likely hood of being elected because of the use of profanity, that reinforces my contention. The electorate qualify as ignorant, crude and vulgar. My G0D man, look at the number of people who want Trump for president. Or voted for Big O. cause they thought he was going to give them special privileges and perks because, like him, they were black.

        • bpollen December 5th, 2015 at 03:02

Note that while you approve of the use of profanity, you chose not to use it. Significant, don’t you think?

Yeah, it IS significant, but its significance is based on your very clear statements that only statements without profanity are valid. Which is demonstrably false. If I say “Pi R Squared”, I can use that to figure the circumference of a circle. If I say “Pi R Frickin’ Squared,” I STILL can figure the circumference of a circle. Your argument boils down to: it doesn’t matter what you say, nor does it matter what the words you use mean, it’s the particular choice of words. Your “profanity in the face of authority” in no way supports your position. This is neither a trial, or a police encounter. And even if it WAS, the use of profanity does not make your position in either case wrong.

The electorate qualify as ignorant, crude and vulgar.

Somebody has a high opinion of himself. With no apparent reason. I bet a lot of the electorate would find that you qualify as pretentious and judgmental.

My G0D man, look at the number of people who want Trump for president.

          and

Or voted for Big O. cause they thought he was going to give them special privileges and perks because, like him, they were black.

The people behind Trump, and the assumption inherent in your 2nd statement have something distinct in common: Racism. Which kinda turns your “oh my delicate ears” crap into a totally implausible smokescreen. It would be more accurate had you said “I’m a genteel racist.” Which, frankly, makes your opinion “un morceau de merde!”

          • RayCy December 5th, 2015 at 14:55

Yeah, it IS significant, but its significance is based on your very clear statements that only statements without profanity are valid. Which is demonstrably false.

            I made no such statement.

            • bpollen December 5th, 2015 at 16:00

And you realize that language tells everyone you are crude, vulgar and ignorant? And that you have nothing to contribute?

Gee, a little ways upthread, and you prove YOURSELF to be a liar. “And they have nothing to contribute.” You, in your own words, say that profanity reduces their contribution to nothing. Unless you are telling me you were hacked, you DID make such a statement. It’s right here for ALL to see.

              • RayCy December 5th, 2015 at 16:32

Show me where I said,”Only statements without profanity are valid,”

Now “F___n 2 + F___n 2 = F____n 4” is a fact easily provable outside of a particular discussion, and is not really a “contribution.” Voicing an OPINION on something that cannot be proven depends on how much your opinion can be trusted, that is how intelligent you are. Carla, by her repeat use of profanity, vulgarity and insults demonstrates that she not intelligent.

She might be, but her language undermines that leaving the casual reader to include that her OPINIONS might be of limited value, and therefore she has nothing to contribute. Well, little to contribute. After all, even a stopped clock is right twice a day and a blind sows find an truffle once in a while.

                • bpollen December 5th, 2015 at 18:48

And you realize that language tells everyone you are crude, vulgar and ignorant? And that you have nothing to contribute?

Read that last sentence again, crank up your word comprehension, and notice that you said the contributions of the profane are “nothing.” Then explain how claiming a statement is “nothing” and yet still valid makes any sort of rational sense. How often have your heard “Your opinion is a bunch of shit, and perfectly valid and spot on” in ANY conversation?. Or does “Your opinion is nothing and I agree with it wholeheartedly” come up often?

Try those semantic games on a middle-schooler, maybe you’ll get some joy. With rational adults, that dog don’t hunt.

Carla, by her repeat use of profanity, vulgarity and insults demonstrates that she not intelligent.

                  Your opinion. Studies disagree:

These verses having nothing to do with abortion. These are God’s
judgements against people for their sins just as one day He will judge
our sins. The difference is this was Old Covenant of Law and because of
Christ Jesus we are now in the New Covenant of His grace and mercy to
give us time to turn away from our sins, accept what Christ did on the
cross for the forgiveness we all need to avoid the judgement and wrath
      of God.

Is that easier for you to understand and more valid?

    • bpollen December 5th, 2015 at 21:14

Ahh… you concede. You don’t refute, you insult. You play childish semantic games (I didn’t have sex with that woman) to try to weasel out of your own words. You have an opinion. You are entitled to that opinion, asinine or not. But you present nothing to support your claims, and resort to “you’re stupid.” Shows that you are nothing but an empty suit. If you could prove your point, you would.

      • RayCy December 5th, 2015 at 21:51

Too funny. You entirely missed the point. And it appears you are the one playing word games.

        • bpollen December 5th, 2015 at 21:58

Nice ineffectual face-saving move. Except you still didn’t refute me. Just offered more opinion. Deny what you said all you want. Until you can support your opinion, all you are doing is deflecting. “You don’t get me” doesn’t really prove the slightest scintilla of your position about profanity. 6 posts, nary an iota of corroborating evidence.

As I said, if you could prove your point, you would. You’ve failed. Attacking others just makes you look petty in the face of your abject failure to substantiate your Theory of Wholesome English.

          • RayCy December 5th, 2015 at 22:00

            • bpollen December 5th, 2015 at 22:01

      • RayCy December 5th, 2015 at 21:58

Actually you and Carla just posting proves my point better than I ever could. You both use profanity and obscenity and have added nothing to this conversation.

  16. Patrick Williams December 6th, 2015 at 20:01

How are they responsible parents and they aborting their kids? I didn’t say only sluts have unprotected sex. I can see that you too either have selective comprehension or dyslexia. What I said was that if people didn’t want children they should not be having unprotected sex out of wedlock. How you got all that other stuff is beyond me. My guess is that its beyond you also.. Also it is my business when it’s in the news. Its called public domain.. You must be unmarried and having unprotected sex?

    • Carla Akins December 7th, 2015 at 04:42

It’s ridiculous and unrealistic to think grown people in a relationship won’t have sex, also accidents happen. The idea that she should keep her legs closed (your words) is a clear indication about how you feel about women’s sexuality. In all of your posts I did not find a single instance of assigning blame to the male partner. This shouts volumes about your feelings, it doesn’t take a doctorate to see your problem with women.

      • Patrick Williams December 7th, 2015 at 09:04

You really do have a problem with comprehending what you read, don’t you? Let me try to clarify this one more time. I never said that people in a relationship should stop having sex! You just “assumed” that’s what I meant and we all know why we shouldn’t assume anything, right? Here’s what I said; “If people don’t want to have children, they should stop having “unprotected” sex out of wedlock” The key word being “unprotected”. Not stop having sex, stop having “unprotected” sex, if in fact they don’t want children. Some one should be responsible enough to take some form of action that would prevent becoming pregnant. The woman could get her tubes tied, use birth control pills, IUDs, foam, something! The guy could get a vasectomy, use a condom, anything that would stop them from being in a position where they find themselves reaping the fruits of “their own actions”. Anything other than killing off a baby simply because you don’t want the responsibility of raising him/her, when it was your own action that brought this about. I also don’t have a problem with women, but you clearly have a problem with men. I did say “they”, did I not? That means both participants, man & woman. Maybe you should go back and read the post again, slowly. What happened with you, guy got you pregnant & left you, didn’t stick around and raise his child like a “real” man should have; husband left you with the kids for another , perhaps younger woman? There’s clearly something in your past that fuels your feelings on abortions. It doesn’t take a doctorates to see that. However, here’s the deal; If that is the case or whatever the case maybe, a man who does such a thing isn’t really a man at all. He’s akin to a parasite (in my opinion), a blight on society & a waste of God-given space & time. I have fathered 8 children, my first at 18 years of age. Whatever plans I had for my own life was immediately put on hold, because the child was the result of my own actions (“unprotected sex). I married the woman and raised my children – all of them. Regardless of what I had planned for myself. I’m 48 years old now and have been married for 25 and a half years of my life. That’s over half of my time on earth. That’s what being a man is, that’s being a responsible adult, not killing off the baby because one doesn’t want to suffer the consequence of “their own actions! So spare me the feministic views on woman’s sexuality bs…

  17. Patrick Williams December 7th, 2015 at 10:21

Don’t misunderstand me. I’m not talking about if a pregnancy is potentially life threatening for the woman. That’s not what I meant and I know you know that. You can think what you want about me & and as for the name calling, as the children say; sticks & stones lady, sticks & stones. I notice how every time someone calls you on your crap, you start cussing and result to insults & being belligerent. Coping mechanism you picked up growing up? Surely you can do better than that. LOL. Life doesn’t begin at conception? No one knows the moment of conception? Wrong again! (https://www.princeton.edu/~prolife/…/embryoquotes). Maybe you should read more and stop talking about things to which you clearly have no knowledge… Middle school biology? Your words reveal that you’re not as intelligent as you think you are and you should be ashamed of yourself for “frontin” like you are. You say if I want to use the “biblical version”, its not a life until it breathes? If I was a betting person, I’d bet that you can’t prove that statement “biblically”… And don’t try to use scripture out of context either. Also, I don’t think that you’re a horrible person, just a confused & very uninformed one…
