BlackWater LLC was a defense contractor. Several of their employees were convicted of not just of murder but mass murder. After several corporate reorganizations, the current company still receives tens of millions of dollars in government contracts.
So I trust you know what I suggest you do with your selective outrage about the use of our tax dollars. When I get to restrict the use of my tax dollars only to purposes I agree with, I will be happy to extend that option to all other tax payers. In the meantime, if we can fund companies who hire murderers, we can certainly fund Planned Parenthood

Prohibiting Federal taxes from funding something is not equivalent to interfering with your medical care. Abortion would unfortunately remain legal with this legislation, so you and your uterus are free to interact with your doctor however you wish.

Federal funds do not pay for abortion, it’s the Hyde Act. PP doesn’t get a block grant, they are reimbursed for services rendered. This is how we know this to be true.

In general, whether or not the federal government chooses to fund something has no bearing on me personally or other people choosing to fund that activity and continue it on our own (assuming it is a legal activity such as abortion or producing oil).

That legislation is separate from the funding legislation. I don’t think a 72 hour waiting period is in any federal law anyway. That is likely a state regulation.

If you are against PP because you think your tax dollars fund abortions, you’re not very bright, because government funding does not pay for abortions. Abortions that PP covers are covered by other donations. If you take a look at the graph above, PP receives hundreds of millions from other sources that would be plenty to cover abortions. Defunding planned parenthood would likely add to the rate of unwanted pregnancies. The GOP conveniently ignores this as they pander to their right wing gap, toothed mouth, breathing base.
