Cruz: Access To Contraceptives A ‘Nonsense Issue’

Posted by | December 1, 2015 11:24 | Filed under: News Behaving Badly Politics

Ted Cruz has no worries that contraception access isn’t equal for all women.

Said Cruz: “I have been a conservative my entire life. I have never met anybody, any conservative who wants to ban contraceptives.”

He added: “Last I checked, we don’t have a rubber shortage in America. Like look, when I was in college, we had a machine in the bathroom. You put 50 cents in — and voila!”

St*pid is strong, he can only accept male contraceptive.

    • MyDogsAreSmarterThanYou December 1st, 2015 at 13:42

Yup, it’s all the males decision. Can’t allow a woman to control her own body.

Not any more teddy, that was back in the age of sensibility.

I’m waiting to hear that teddy got up in front of a big crowd and said My scalp is tingeing from all the Left wing radio spy waves, or Hey folks my butt hole is burning, or Oh,.. I just peed myself , or Do you hear those voices too? Do they even have half an idea how ridiculous they sound, look?

And you could also get a squirt of cologne for another 50 cents, to really spice up your date. He’s a real classy guy, this one is.

  4. Budda December 1st, 2015 at 12:26

Contraception isn’t an issue…yet abortion is. Morons!

  5. Larry Schmitt December 1st, 2015 at 12:40

Rubber shortage? I’m not sure if he thinks they’re made out of rubber, or if he still calls condoms rubbers. Either way, he’s stuck in the 50’s.

    A. Raphael, you idiot, you were in the wrong bathroom, that’s a tampon.
    B. I just took a quick poll of the women I know and they all agree that anyone who would have sex with you is simply too lazy to masturbate

    • Larry Schmitt December 1st, 2015 at 13:16

Or as the immortal Dan Quayle put it: “…what a waste it is to lose one’s mind or not to have a mind is being very wasteful. How true that is.”[

    • Bunya December 1st, 2015 at 13:24

OMG! If he was in the women’s bathroom, one can only imagine what he did with the tampon!

      • Larry Schmitt December 1st, 2015 at 13:25

It probably fit him better than you want to know.

Ted, your clown shoes are showing again!

  8. alpacadaddy December 1st, 2015 at 13:26

What a complete dumbass! It’s too bad Ted’s parents didn’t avail themselves of contraception (or was his one of those immaculate conceptions?)

  9. majii December 1st, 2015 at 15:06

Cruz is one of the stupidest lawmakers in America when it comes to understanding not only climate change but reproductive health. It appears to me that it’s never entered his mind that some women might not trust a man to help them prevent a pregnancy. In this tool’s mind, when, where, and how to have sex is a man’s decision, and the female is only an accessory. It wouldn’t surprise me if his own wife uses some other form of contraception besides condoms, but he’ll never admit it.

    • whatthe46 December 1st, 2015 at 18:51

that or she’s not telling him.

  10. Suzanne McFly December 1st, 2015 at 17:06

    • whatthe46 December 1st, 2015 at 18:49

      • Suzanne McFly December 1st, 2015 at 23:27

I thought about adding that tidbit, but I didn’t want to offend anyone. I do that enough as it is, glad you took the baton on that one lol.

        • whatthe46 December 1st, 2015 at 23:37

ah. what’s the worse that can happen? delete it. better than being banned. besides, it’s the truth.

          • Suzanne McFly December 1st, 2015 at 23:40

Definitely, her not swallowing cost us billions in a government shut down.

            • whatthe46 December 1st, 2015 at 23:53

  14. whatthe46 December 1st, 2015 at 18:57

how many times does he think a rapist stops for condoms?

  15. toadUso December 1st, 2015 at 19:49

Ted, meet Rick. “One of the things I will talk about, that no president has talked about before, is I think the dangers of contraception in this country. Many of the Christian faith have said, well, that’s okay, contraception is okay,” Santorum, a devout Catholic, said in October 2012. “It’s not okay. It’s a license to do things in a sexual realm that is counter to how things are supposed to be.”
Santorum has expressed his opposition to the Supreme Court’s 1965 ruling that invalidated a Connecticut law banning contraception.

His wife should substitute his vitamins for estrogen. Maybe he’ll grow a conscience along with the boobs.

But there’s this from August: “Georgia Right to Life, one of the most outspoken proponents of the movement to grant legal “personhood” to fertilized eggs and fetuses, has endorsed Sen. Ted Cruz for president after he SIGNED THEIR CANDIDATE PLEDGE promising to ‘support a personhood amendment to the U.S. Constitution.’ GRTL’s pledge, which the group says Cruz signed, asks candidates to affirm that ‘a continuum of human life and personhood begins at the moment of fertilization’ and promise to protect ‘the civil rights of the pre-born at an embryonic or fetal level.’ In practice, personhood would not only criminalize all abortions, it could also endanger some common forms of birth control and put women who have suffered miscarriages at risk of prosecution.”
